SRL Archive - Reflection (Archive)

create a folder named reflection in scarfolder -> includes ->SRL-> SRL and put this as the repository http://scardevreflection.googlecode.com/svn/trunk
this is for the reflection, though it dun work at the moment, but some scripts require it to just be there for smart to start up =S ..went thru alot of trouble earlier figuring how to solve this problem, and finally did it, so u guys could have a easier time if u run into the same problem.
this is for those who also had problems like getting stucked in the installer in the other thread, like me. hope this helps.

If the script requires reflection, then it may not 100% work.

Eg, If the scripter has used reflection to tell if you are fishing (animation) then that part of the script will be broke.

Solution to reflection being broken is use color scripts.

I believe my fighter is the only script that requires reflection even if you don't use it? ^^ And I have the instructions to it in the script.

whats the point in calling reflection in the script if it doesnt use it?

In Marpis's fighter, it's an option to use reflection or not. By the way, has reflection been updated, I don't know because I was inactive for a bit. :o

Not yet ;) I'm glad I don't play RS anymore because if I was still playing, I would die waiting for it to be updated :D

lol. nice try. I dont think it is the hooks that are broken, but some of the functions. It is apparently a very hard fix.

EDIT BTW, color is better than reflection if you dont want to get banned. Jagex hasnt implemented anything to detect whether you are using reflection, but they can. Honestly, i am really not sure why they havent done that since it would cause a mass ban.

For now color scripts are also less accurate then reflection scripts so i guess it kinda balances out.

This thread is 8 months old, reflection has been fixed for the most part. Reflection versus Color debates have grown banal and I'd advise you to read through several past discussions before starting another one.
