Ugh, I wrote two nice, big paragraphs in response and then Xed out by accident -.- I'll summarize

Rofl, epic fail @ the video, but honestly guys, chill out, it's a song for crying out loud… before the children will reach an age at which they will want/be able to vote, they will be able to base their votes on their own opinions, not songs learned in elementary school… (well, at least I hope so… if not, then there is a serious reason to worry about the youth nowadays…) :sasmokin:
As JAD stated, "They are now going to start brain washing our youth?". No, it's not Obama brainwashing them, but it's brainwashing them in his favor. First impressions last a lifetime. If they're introduced to Obama as 'Obama is number one!', they're going to think that way for a long, long time. If, for example, someone comes up to one of them and says 'Obama is dumb', they're going to refute because of what that song taught them. They will continue to refute any opposition and it will become etched in their mind that 'Obama is number one'. It would be virtually impossible for them to have level ground when they are old enough to be able to choose which political stance they wish to take. So yes, there is a serious reason to worry about the youth and what they're told, and there always has been.
I agree to the socialist part (actually a pro arguement for Obama in my opinion), but calling him a "communist" goes a bit too far… simply trying to achieve some econimic justice does not make someone a communist, geez. For exmaple, what's so bad about a nation wide health-care system? quite a lot of people seem to be acting as if it is the killing stroke for capitalism… Hmmm, I really don't want to argue about my political opinion, but as far as I have observed it (by living in the USA for a couple of years and now through various newscasts), most people are waaaaaay too sensitive about any political changes… whatever happened to open-mindedness… example: we in Germany have healthcare for everyone, but guess what? We are founded upon democratic and capitalistic principles, which we have not abandoned… Oh, and while I am at it, techincally, every human should have the basic right to be treated when becomming ill, no matter how much money he or she has avaible.
( the health care plan of Obama is just one example, since it has been going through the news lately… could name various others)
I'm not big on politics, so correct me if I'm wrong on any facts.
Capitalism -> Socialism -> Communism
Every step you take leads in a certain direction. If we continue having the government take over running things one by one, then that's the direction we're heading. Universal health care is the first step.
As for the US not being open minded….The US must be doing something right over all these years, seeing as it's the only remaining superpower. Why fix what's not broken (i.e. Input more and more socialism)? Nobody's saying that health care doesn't need fixing; it does, but this is not the solution.
And the right to medical attention - what JAD said. Also, to me it seems as if the major reason people don't have health care is not because they can't afford it, but rather they don't think it's worth it over buying a new TV and keeping that $100/month cable subscription, and later suffer the consequences
