I didn't know that they could be bought at a shop when I suggested it.

White bead still sounds good though. It is the item with the lowest cost to supply ratio we have used yet, so I think we may actually be able to influence the price. I voted for that.

Can we just say all the items suck and do white bead? it's the only logical item

I dont think its a good thing if they are already bougth out..We would make the price rice but still make very small profit..

The problem with the last one was hat there were too many in circulation, and that's why we don't want to do renewable items. White beads are not renewable, not buying a max immediately, and can't be bought in a shop, so are a very good item to merch.

I was just explaining why White Beads are a good item to merch to Antti Mies.

The only thing is this will be a long term merch if we do beads.
Jagex changed the drop rate for these and they're pretty rare, so we just have to wait for noobs to get them and sell them.
But it will be a piece of cake to manipulate.

that's good to hear, because no offense Rogeruk, but it's really annoying me how low your dump prices are :p, all the merches have been under a week lol.

No offence but they have not been my dump prices. Ive simple taken them from the suggestion thread.

Also they've been under a week because certain people were not even buying them at max, some people were even dumping them early and other people were making public clan chats for it.

Dump prices are usually just what they end up being.
I wouldn't necessarily blame them on anyone.

I didn't know there was a suggestion thread for it, and it sounds like you did take offense to it :/ if you did, I didn't mean to get you ticked. I thought you set the dump prices, and it wasn't too big of a deal, I just didn't get why the dump price was always so low.

and Almost, I wasn't blaming anyone, I was just saying the dump prices are relatively low for the item's we've had. And they are always set with the item in the thread, I think, so I don't think they are just what they end up being.

Question: Who's going to buy over 100k white beads when the dump comes? Isn't their only use to finish the one F2P quest?

If it won't be at least 100k beads, then there's not much point in doing it because low amount of beads = low amount of profit.

I was wondering about the same thing but I am a big noob in runescape so I thought I know it wrong and white bed is something important.

So whats happening. Some people voting to try white bead and some not?.

Shall we go back to thinking of an item?

You can tell we're complete noobs to this business. How about feathers? I know they're very common, but the price is still rising, and there's no indication of it stopping.

Feathers, alot in circulation i think it be more of a merch than a price manipulation

Don't do ether. Black armer can be bought and white beads are hard to sell large amounts of.

It doesn't matter. We can buy all of these out for a long time, because the supply is so low. By the time we get to the dump price, other merchanters (outside of our clan) will be buying the item just because it's going up. Not necessarily for use.

It is the best item.

That's putting a lot on chance.

1. They will probably recognize that it's being merched by someone else
2. They will probably recognize it is a virtually useless item
3. Above leads to them not risking it like we are if we merch them

Actually by now I think we missed our chance to really impact the price of these.
Maybe if we started buying them a day or two ago it would be perfect.
So I don't like this item as much anymore.

Or, more likely, the price will crash long before people are able to sell even a fraction of their stock; Nobody is going to buy them, unless you somehow miraculously get another merch clan to start buying while we're selling, which, in my opinion, has a .01% chance of happening.

It should take as long to sell as it will to buy them out.

Put 1m towards them and you'll buy them out in a day. Put them back on the GE the next day and it'll take weeks, or longer, to sell them back.

Thing is, there's such a limited supply that you're probably not going to get more than a hundred or so (resulting in a very small profit at the end, if any). Not to mention the troubles with selling them at all.

Shall we go back to stage 1 and look for items?

Anything that rare would cost a bit more than just 1k.

I recall when I was doing the quest a couple months ago on my pure that it was near impossible to buy a bead. After waiting around for a bit, I just killed imps and got it on my own. It's not that it's rare, they're just items that nobody bothers to collect.

I was talking to JAD on msn and he enlightened me a bit on merching with a clan, and now I think it might be worth a try (don't feel like typing out what he said because I'm on my iPod right now).

White bead is not going to work demand is just to low.

Rune war hammers? Or is a clan merching them before us?
