I basically thought of this on accident, it was in my 1k post.
The story behind finding this:
I had a bunch of prayer potions and was trying to sell them, but smokin mils cc was merching them and had just dumped them. They were at a fairly higher (but not much higher, since this item they decided to dump very early) price then usual. I was stuck with these, so what I decided to do was sell them to my bot, I got it members to get rid of my bunch of prayer pots, I sold them for a good price, then I sold the prayer pots for g/e and kept selling minimum till I got all the money back, then I had more money to trade with my main for any junk etc. So basically, I got stuck with a lot of an item, and it wouldn't sell so I sold it to my bot.
The Idea:
So my new idea, which isn't so new anymore, was always just to lazy to make this thread, is that you find an item being merched by a clan (safer) or look for an item about to rise (slightly riskier) and you buy a bunch. Then when it rises, once it hits its peak, if it's just starting to crash and you can't sell for minimum and the g/e hasn't updated yet (max profit) or just updated once (slightly less profit, but still should be good) you sell it all to your bot for market, which should be higher then what you payed, and you make money and you get money from the bot. You can also do this by selling items to your bot that are crashing, then when it's done, buy it back, so you don't lose the item, and you made some money, you can buy items from your bot that are rising, and sell back when it's done.
There's a few different methods you can get from this original method, be creative. It's all about when prices are high and low, and selling to your bot with the high prices, and buying with the prices low. Well I hope you guys find this useful, and possibly use this method, I think it could be a very good method, and one of the few left. If you need anything cleared up just post, and I'll do my best.
Shorter Version: (recommend longer one, it has other stuff in there to get you thinking of your own methods)
Just buy an item with a clan that's being merched, when they dump, so you don't lose money, and you get money from your bot transferred, you just sell the merched item to your bot. You can also then sell the merched item, and it doesn't matter how much it crashes at that point, since your main has the money, then with that money, sell junk from your main to your bot.
