EDIT:

1 you forgot to put SetUpPlayer; in the mainloop so it never logs in XD
2 it cant find my (maple) logs
3(tip) before banking let it check for logs in your inv first
so it wont bank your logs and take them out again

Thanks but ill just DTM them.

With the yew stringer, it logs in, opens the bank and says
'Error: Cannot find strings/bows in bank'.
Maybe you have done something wrong with setting up the yew DTM's?
I checked, and i dont think there is anything wrong with my setup?

Had to stop to get yew dtm :( lol

I had to change both the longbow and the bowstring dtm's.
i attached a fixed up script here.
I dont know if the yew shortbow dtm is right, since i havent tried it.
But the Longbow works for sure :).
ill post proggy in the morning, im off to sleep now.

Notice that i have banked 7 times and the EXP gained, Longbows strung and estimated EXP havent changed from 0?
You should try fix that up.

And the bowstring DTM made a difference for me?

Also I've noticed it clicks on the String-X and types in a number.
An easier way could be if it clicked String-All.

Bowstring may have been wrong but the first error would have been the unstrung bow dtm. I wasnt level 70 when i made the yew part so had no way of testing.

EXP prob related to the same problem with the strung bow dtm.

Changed to String All too, just copied and pasted my fletch part lol.

All should be fixed when i upload new version.

I have a suggestion:
I have noticed that with the stringing (i dont know about cutting) it clicks the same inventory slot every single time to 'use' the bowtring and another slot to use it with the bow (u).
Well, from my experience, i would suggest you put this in your script instead of what you have for your clicking in inventory for stringing:

MouseItem(1+random(13), true);
Wait(HOWEVER LONG+random(HOWEVER LONG));
MouseItem(15+random(13), true);

That would click from the 1st to the 14th inv slot, then click on the 15th to 28th inv slot, making it use the bows (u) with the bowstring.

Not the correct way of scripting. My script locates the DTM. Therefor if you have only 12 logs left it will fletch 12 logs. Your way if you only had 12 logs it would try and click Inv slot 18 and get stuck in a loop and break.

Plus, the script will work whever your knife is in the inv which makes it alot more user friendly.

When i human fletch i always click the same location so its no big deal.

No support for using the script outside of soul wars.
Not held responsible for ban due to no randoms in soul wars.

I'm pretty sure you can get a random at the soul wars bank since the randoms update. I think since that update you can get a random anywhere, which is why I just did it at lumby, I didn't see a point in going outta my way to soul wars for 1k logs.

Also, I was sitting there the whole time, and I know I didn't get any randoms, and if I did I would've paused the script and solved it, no big deal bout the randoms.

I have tested the randoms at soul wars quite extensively… over 100 hours of alching/fletching and no randoms.

There are no randoms… but after you leave soulwars and run to edgeville, the second u enter edgeville, you get a random. :).

No, just stopped. I then did the rest manually and when I went to use it to string them it withdraws 14 of each, uses them together right clicks on the bow as if it is going to make them and then opens bank deposits the unstrung bows and bowstrings. I'm trying to string yew longbows btw

You can see in the proggys there is bows done n hour and how much is left to do.
I added those for personal use, I especially like the 'left to do' funtion, since it is an auto-detection system for finding logs / bows(u)+bowstring. It also ends my script when there is nothing left to fletch/string.
Overall, your script is great.

But it wont type my name correct, it doesnt type - or _, so when it logs out, it cant log back in, and I always need to log in myself, can you fix that please? :)


EDIT: changed from willows to maple, and now it doesnt work … It starts, opens the bank, withdraws maples, closes bank, opens bank, deposits maples.
Thats all it does for maples :(

This is a great script, I fletched 50,000 yews with it, but I am having problems with trying to string them. The script takes out the unstrungs and the bow strings and clicks on the string menu but does not click on the option to string all. Instead, it just goes back to the bank and banks the unstrungs and the bow strings and starts all over again. It never actually strings any bows. Any ideas on what is going on? I have the latest devsrl (downloaded it just before posting this) but it still does not string yew unstrungs.

edit: just realized it says yew longs, I wasnt doing yew longs I was doing willow longs.



I'm not sure why it stopped, or why the exp/hour was so innacurate, but this got me from 51 to 57 fletching doing unstrung willow longbows.

It has a few bugs, which I fixed:

• It sometimes banks the knife.
• sometimes it executes randomly because it cannot find the bank.
• it lags alot, but is easilly fixed by adding a small wait(100+random(389)) multiple times through the bank procedure.

I found that sometimes the script would fail by clicking on a fletched bow and would sit there and do nothing.

A simple fail safe for this was making it always clock the 28th Item in your inventory. That way it will never miss a log per inventory and its working wonders for me.

Oh well, you do have a point there. :duh:

I thought it wouldn't be that bad, since that if there wouldnt be a 28th item, then it would only miss 1 load max. Right? 1 Load really only takes about 1minute to do anyways~

Its a DTM search so it should always find it. Maybe the randomness is off a bit. Failsafe would just be to refletch if it isnt already in ther.

Possibly. To be more specific on the error that occurred is that it clicked an item in the 5th spot instead of in the 9th spot.
I have already fletched 6Bows, so slots 1-7 were already used and showed either a knife(1) or a UBow(6).
So I think you might be correct on that from what I can tell.

When its in the bank, and its getting the bow (U) and bow string it. The wait is too short. Need a failsafe that checks if the bow string and bow (U) are in the inv before closing the bank.

Yea the delay should be more. I had to stop the script because it tried to click on the log and knife thinking the fletching stopped. But it was too late when it clicked as that log was fletched. So it clicked on a bow and was waiting for everything to finish fletching. Then couldn't open the bank because uptext was use willow bow(u)—–>bank chest instead of open bank chest. I will look into it later and increase the delay.

Other than that working good. Although If I may make a suggestion. Could you make a auto responder? Nothing big just that it would respond automatically to someone asking fletching level. As many legit players go to soul wars to fletch and/or high alch, they tend to ask that a lot.

Where it says Wait(100 + Random(500)); just increase them. The number could be different they are in milseconds.

Sorry to hear that but as you can see many people are using it and someone even became 99 with it. I guess you are logged in 24 hours, or many people reported you. Although yes the script does have some bot like movements I noticed. For example sometimes it takes logs, deposits them, takes them again…continues doing that for sometime. I find this happening more and more often. Don't know why it does that but roger you should fix that.

That could of caused the ban, i got from 1 to 90 fletching with this script in 4days. Some times it takes 2 weeks for a ban.

You can easily add it in, and all you gotta do is note all your bows you wanna sell, go to the general store, hit trade, so the trade screen is up, and then find out what spot the coords are set up for, put the bows in that inv spot, and it'll keep selling them to a general store, 50 at a time. ;)

I edited your script some, so it can fletch for me, and enchant jewelry, so I didn't want to just copy and paste over my work, so I was comparing lines, pasting in your updates, and while doing so I noticed a potential infinite loop, it is in the procedure, Fletching;, you do:

until(FindNPCChatText(Make, ClickRight));

I think you should add in a MarkTime and TimeFromMark, or some other failsafe in there, so it doesn't wait forever to find chat that could possibly never show if something went wrong. But I do like it much better then the old way of:

wait(200 + Random(200));
If (FindNPCChatText(Make, ClickRight)) Then wait(100 + Random(200));

:) much better since 200-400ms can sometimes not be long enough if someone lags or something, it's just more efficient, I like it, but just add in a failsafe to make it more safe to use ;). I am still updating my script, so if I have any other suggestions I'll let you know.

P.S.: Hope you don't mind I edited your script for myself, I was using your script to fletch, and also enchanting at the moment, so I made a little add-on to your script to enchant, so I wouldn't have to :p

EDIT: Oh yea, also, everytime you add one to Players[CurrentPlayer].Integers[1] you also add one to loads, so in my add-on-ed (lol) version, I took out Players[CurrentPlayer].Integers[1] and just used the loads variable, maybe you should also? Bad to say but i didnt really put much work into the script, it worked for me so i kinda left it but then it started getting more users so i started updating it bit by bit of what was broken.

Going to sub one of my other accounts now and then update the script properly, cant rely on people lending me their account.

With the variables and progress reports, its taken from my other scripts where multiplayer is used so i had to record each players loads rather than a general loads. Eg Player 1 - 10 Loads, Player 2 - 20 Loads, Loads = 30. Etc

Yea i only added it for my use, use to spam sell the bows, not sure if thats what got me banned. So thats why its not included as a functional procedure so i wouldnt advise on using it. If you do, increase waits and add breaks.

Do you know what is happening?

Edit 2: This sometimes moves the knife (1st inv slot) to the bank, but not withdraw another, so it keep withdrawing and storing logs till logout.

It shouldn't do that :O I ran this script and made my fletching level from 43 to 85 and I have never seen it do that. Probably its because of lag or something. Post if it occurs again.

I have seen this happen quite a few times as well, that's why I am not going to be using until it is fixed because it makes it too obvious that you are autoing

Yep. I just saw it today. It never happened for me before. I always kept it on over night and It was still running in the morning. Just today I noticed it deposited my knife. But I still think its lag (I was browsing when it happened) or it would have happened more often if it was because of a code.

PS: This script will almost always (95% of the time) last for 6hours and 0-3minutes over. Then for some reason every time of the 20+ times I have run it, it logs me out automatically (not the script, the game does) right when it hits 6hours.

I think it might be a good idea that you could include a "Try Again" kind of deal with having it try 1 extra time to login (which it currently doesn't). I also get an error pop up 4 times in a row saying that the script can't "DETECT INVENTORY TAB".

This may be due to RuneScape automatically logging me out after 6hours of fletching.

I logged it in and it ended up just pulling the graphics menu up then closing it over and over. Finally failed with a [Runtime Error] : Out Of Range in line 318 in script C:\Users\Choroid\Desktop\fletch.scar This was probably human error on my behalf though. Hoping to get to 80 with this baby. I'll post some proggys soon also.


Edit: It works now, been running it for quite a while. Getting an estimated EXP Per Hour: 59385. You should so steal somebody elses feature so I can talk in clan chat and fletch. Insta-Win! I'll post this proggy when I get done tonight.

The best thing to do is run the script and play xbox or something for a bit and keep checking back on it every now and then

a) Increase the time between the withdraw of logs and the check of logs in the inventory, if there is a bit of lag it will store again and again and will not ever fletch bows.

b) Delete the function walk, it loses the bank chest if you aren't right in front of him.

What logs? Are they visible in bank?

5k of yews and they are visible in the bank i have them the bowstrings and a longbow(u) in its own tab as i did the past 3 times…

Wierd maybe the DTMs are bad.

Well it works with maples because i just ran it for over 10 hours doing maples.

I'm getting a similar problem, it won't find the unstrung bows (yew).

Wierd having problems with the yew dtm, its picking up maples too

The default black color is changed, this has rendered many things in mini-map scanners and Inventory functions (Like all of them) to be obsolete until the color 65536 is changed to 131072. This affects all item DTMs and more aswell…

I think this is a problem with runescape as I just tried the 1.5 version of the script which has worked before and it will not work, I'm guessing that jagex altered something very slightly.

Have you deleted the deposit function?? The script doesn't ever deposit, logs or bows, doesn't matter the item…

I think the DTM's for the items need to be redone, like a previous post said the colour of the border has been changed for items so im guessing scar isnt recognising any of the geometry.

i changed the dtm now it works fine great script.

Yea the willow problem is the DTM. Deposit problem is update SRL

it is just a suggestion but maybe you can make it take breaks.

Log DTM is still not right. I tried fixing it but my DTM's are worse, it gives can't find log within one second :p

I am using Maples BTW.

RogerUK, the script was awesome before the colour changes, but people (including myself) are still having problems with no logs/ bows/ bow strings being found. I did try to make DTM's for these but i failed miserably so can you PLEASE fix the DTM's for these? Myself and lots of other people would appreciate it as this is by far the best flethcing script around.

The script could have easily gone for 10 hours and gained one more level but it deposited my knife. So i disabled SMART, opened bank, scrolled down and withdrew a knife and enabled SMART. Since I forgot to scroll back up, the script didn't find log and terminated within a second. Could you add something so that It looks a few times for the log before terminating? Also make sure it doesn't deposit knife.

On a more happier note I am lvl 88 and got one month membership left. Think I can get to 99? :D

Thats because of lag. When the logs are withdrawn, it takes a second longer to come in inventory. The delay with the script to check if the logs are there is probably something millisecond so it keeps depositing everything and withdrawing logs as the script detects, no logs are withdrawn. Changing the numbers in the delay will solve it. I will tell you which one. Let me look through the script.

Edit: OK in line 389 where it says

wait(100 + Random(200));

Change that to

wait(1000 + Random(200));

I think thats the part thats causing the problem. Just increase the delay there and see if it works.

Maple is profitable to sell in general store (unstrung) but I think unstrung yew costs less than the yew log when you sell it.

I make 2.2 times more money than I use to buy Maple. Thats more than doubling the money. I will do magic from 98 onwards though.

Dude DTMs are working. Check my proggies 9 hour and 8 hour. Only once in a while there is problem. This script is up to date.

It wont find the bows/logs/bowstrings in my bank :S

Ive updated SRL and all includes as well as scar revision but it still wont detect them…

i'll try something out and tell you how it goes.

grrr. i updated reflection and now my Embedded_SMART.dll has a red mark against it and sccripts wont run it. ffs. any idea of how to fix this? btw i tried updating scar because the script wouldnt bank bows.

I highly doubt SRL is the only bot that uses color lol. But they are most likely doing this because of autoing in general with the use of color.

Well RSBOT uses reflection too. Only SRL is left dependent on color only. It could be that jagex saw how much trouble the last color update caused here as the devs didn't have time to fix the black color changes, then finally a new public version is released and BAM another update to change the black color again…They are trying to totally destroy us and they think they are winning.

90-99 can be done in 2-3 weeks i think.

You could make 35 gp profit per maple long (u) and the exp/hour isn't bad at all about 100k/hour :)

Did you make sure your smart is enabled? It happened to me while I disabled smart and was checking my fletching level. But was working again after I enabled it.

It keeps spamming the report right? Next time it happens, check if smart is enabled. Smart is a little buggy sometimes and gets disabled by itself.

Or if it is enabled, disable it and enable it again.

the antiban is slowing down the proces alot when all bows are strung the mouse is still moving or hovering fletching skill.

i dont think a normal legit player will move his mouse random when his load is already done and he want to bank

Well, I downloaded the new version, but it constantly gives "log is bad" en the log flashes, it "repairs" itself,I lose about a half minute but it doesnt do anything in that half minute. . It also seems to have some problems with maple sometimes :S

Doesnt matter what log it is, it detects all logs as one.

Make sure you setup as said in setup section with bank tabs etc..

it is because it have trouble finding the chest well atleast i think i had same problem before then picked a new color and it worked fine.

But it can't fill my name in correct because there is a "-" in it, can this be fixed in the script (just my version) or is it a problem with SRL/Scar?

I have noticed that with the stringing (i dont know about cutting) it clicks the same inventory slot every single time to 'use' the bowtring and another slot to use it with the bow (u).
Well, from my experience, i would suggest you put this in your script instead of what you have for your clicking in inventory for stringing:

MouseItem(1+random(13), true);
Wait(HOWEVER LONG+random(HOWEVER LONG));
MouseItem(15+random(13), true);

That would click from the 1st to the 14th inv slot, then click on the 15th to 28th inv slot, making it use the bows (u) with the bowstring.

Also, you could use the same with the cutting:

MouseItem(1, true); //if you have knife in slot 1 of inv

Use v.20 if you are fletching…That works perfectly for me. I haven't tried v2.1 yet.

sometimes im still having problems finding the chest (log is bad)

i picked a better color but sometimes it cant find the chest then it hovers 10-20 seconds on chest and finds it

Did you disable smart by any chance?

After a few thousand bows, it starts withdrawing, and banks it again. It doesnt fletch anymore, it just banks and withdraws. Rebooting the script works, but then I have to stay with it all the time.

Well must be becasue of lag. I would recommend minimizing smart and scar and letting it run. Keeping smart open, and running other programs cause lags and may end up with a white screen.

I'll see if I can figure out why, all I know right now is it has something to do most likely with the fletch procedure, that's the one with writeln('log is bad');

Im not getting any errors with latest version.

That loop is simply to check if it is still fletching if the NCount is 0 (no logs) then it will exit. If there is more than 1 log which means fletching did not complete then it will start again.

I can't get this script to work. I'm not new to SCAR/SRL.

Whenever I try to run, SMART opens, logs in, turns up the camera angle, then it starts to flash the progress report in my debug box. Script does nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

for strings[0] I have willow, for strings[2] I have fletch. When you fletch, it just makes a DTM of a log in general, and I have willow and oak logs in the same tab, so it finds the oak log first, and it doesn't check uptext, so it keeps doing the wrong log for me. I tried taking it out and started writing this, I just checked on the script, now it's trying to do mage logs when I don't have that level :p, I'll change them to be in a different tab for now too, until you add either uptext checking on the log dtm, or make a dtm for each log, I'm guessing you just gave the main point a tolerance of 255.

EDIT: doing the log I want now that the other two types are in a different tab, a good temp fix for now :). I'll post proggy when it's done.

EDIT2: It couldn't find the bank at first, so it spammed the debug with a proggy, and status with log is bad, found a person wearing a white dress and training kiteshield (I changed the chest color, since it was doing the same with your color (spamming debug and status when not found)), then it found the bank, moused over it, then SCAR crashed, so I don't have the proggy, did a few loads though, wasn't bad. But the findchest(x, y); needs to be fixed up a bit, that's about it.

My accounts get banned because they run out of P2P, it was high level in many stats, over 12M in bank etc, but once my membership ran out it was banned lol.

maybe autoing too long per day? or not enough variation, like just doing one skill for 5 days straight no break. Like checking bank/GE, doing other skills.

String Yew longbows does not work. Hope you find an account to test with soon. :)

It's the second time in a row that the script terminates after 5 hours and 59 minutes. Don't know why tough, I was asleep. I did notice that my character was not facing the bank.

Did you change anything in the chest color tolerance? For me it really doesn't do more then log in and turn the camera angle up. Any help would be appreciated!:duh:

I know this isn't script related but if you buy yew logs and bow strings you can cut and string them and make a profit, and you can also get to 99 faster

Yes I know that, but stringing Yew logs does not work atm and I'm not legit doing the stringing on 51K Yew longbows (u) lol :D

You can also make ~700k/10k yew longbows (u) just stringing them. That is how I have been doing it.

I have been using this since lvl 91. Legit upto 91 then thought, why the hell not auto it a little. It has helped me currently here and there get up to lvl 97. Will get to 98 with it tonight (doing legit right now though). Possibly 99 by sunday!

Lol, doubt jagex looks at how long you play each login and checks if its consistent you're fine :D. Are you sure there isnt some option in the script that asks how long to run for?

Congrats on that, I'm 92 atm! What did you modify in the scipt? If it's any good feel free to PM me your version ;)

- I made it random in which inventory slots it clicked instead of clicking the same one.

- Made it check for the presence of both bows and strings before continuing to try stringing.

- Upped the random() amount in anti-ban procedure (checked the exp too often IMO)

- Added a check to make sure it had 14 strung bows in inventory before trying to bank

I did some other things also that were more in-depth like re-writing the stringing function for more failsafes and more thorough checks before proceding. Also some waits were too long IMO so I changed quite a few of them, that upped the exp/hr 10k+ on average.

Can anybody give me a working version of theirs?
If not .. it's okay.. I only need like 38 - 50 fletch for a quest requirement.
So I can do it by hand..

When it logs, works fine for the first load of fletching Maple Short Bows. Then once its done it says "Log is bad"

lol theres 525 lines in the script i doubt Process of elimination will solve it. does it work for you?

I don't auto/have SCAR/SRL.. :p But it does help, because hardly any lines have anything to do with the log thing, I'm sure. ;) Mouse(x, y, 2, 2, False); (Which I'm sure is somewhere in the script, or something like that) wouldn't affect it at all.. You know? :)

At the top, remove the {.include SRL/SRL/misc/SMART.scar}, and at the bottom, before SetupSRL, remove the SMART stuff.. you should be able to figure it out. :p

This has been the most frustrating task I have ever tried to complete. I have come across many problems trying to get this script to work, and I would like to in turn offer some common solutions to the problems I had before:

• If you are getting the "log is bad" error, you are most likely using the public version of SRL, or have not installed the Dev version properly.
• If you are getting an error with Sandwich.scar, you need to update to SCAR 3.23 which you can find by googling SCAR 3.23
• If you are using Windows 7 or Vista, MAKE SURE YOU RUN SCAR AS AN ADMINISTRATOR, otherwise you wont be able to move the mouse, click, or type.
• And ofcourse, if you have done these things and you are still getting a "log is bad" error or a type mismatch or the like, make sure you filled out the DeclarePlayers section correctly.

I (ofcourse) have however run into another problem, where I get SMART to start up and log me in perfectly, but when it opens the bank, the mouse just hovers over where teh inventory chest would be. I hope I have helped and I hope that someone can in turn help me. Thanks.

2.0 was working fine for me a little while ago with cutting, but now it seems like its moving too fast or something. It takes out all of the logs and closes the bank really quickly so the pictures for the logs dont even show up yet. Then I assume it tries to look for the logs immediately and cant find them and hits bank, fractions of a second before the pictures for the logs show up. Then it banks the logs and repeats. Where can/should I add wait in to fix this?

Script 2.0 works great with fletching but I have one problem, it doesnt change to Soul Wars world. It just clicks on free game login. It logs in a total different random members world. @ 2.1 I have the bad login error.

SMART doesn't log into the world you specify….You gotta disable SMART, choose the proper world and enable it or use the SRL procedure(s) to change the world.

Great script. A few changes I made were:
Increased range entered into make x to 281 - 9078 just because that's what i normally do and to make it seem more like me…
Removed the antiban move compass N, then E thing because it happens to often and looks very bot like
Added logout after finished required loads instead of waiting to timeout.

Other than that I love it :)

I've decided that instead of writing my own script, which I just haven't got the time for, I'm going to maintain this one. I'm going to make all new DTMs, as I know that the Bow String and Knife items have changed, but am unsure about the others, but may as well make new ones anyway. Also, instead of just Soul Wars, I've added an option to use the script at any supported bank as well as Soul Wars. Of course there are going to be more minute changes, but they are the main ones. I am unsure as to whether I am going to release this to SRL Members, or Jr. Members, but I'll let you know in this thread once I have decided. Also, if you have an suggestions which you would like me to add, let me know here.

TL;DR - I'm re-making this script. Suggestions? Let me know.

I tried it and it just scrolled the status report (in Simba it also scrolled "findobject could not find object"), but I want to know if that's a configuration error on my part or if it is actually dead. I will try PMing him, though.
