It was the update to the GE that changed the price. People used to buy feathers from shops… and now they can't… so yeah.

They aren't merching.

Years ago feathers were commonly 15+ gp each.

Then Jagex, in their infinite wisdom, put unlimited feathers in the fishing shop for 6 gp each, and you could buy tons at a time. This effectively capped the price that feathers could realistically sell for in the GE.

Now that infinite cheap shop feathers are a thing of the past, the price is naturally rising back to its fair market price.
