I did last vote only ancient staff because we needed to hurry and jump on it if we were going to do it. Since the time has passed now - new vote.

We need to pick items that have a low supply/cost ratio.

A few items:

Item: Black Armour set (l)

Dump Price: 10k or more

Reasons: Very low supply, and very low cost for how low the supply is. Black armor can only be obtained through killing monsters and getting a lucky drop, so there is a very low supply of this armor compared to others, because it cannot be smithed.


Item: Goblin mail

Current Price: 20 gp mid
Dump Price: 40 gp or more

Reasons: A very low cost, and a relatively low supply in proportion to that cost. Lets say 100k goblin mail are sold each day. That is equal to 2M gp. We could easily buy all of them out for over a week.

Dump Price: 1k+

Reasons: Low supply, fairly low cost. I recommend we wait a couple more days if we are to do this one though, because the price is still coming down. I think it may have been manipulated just recently, but it is just about to hit the normal equilibrium price again.








With the amount of money we have combined, we need to pick items with much lower supply then previous times. I think any of these 3 items would be very successful if executed correctly.

Why do we always choose renewable items? If we do anything one of those Gold items nearly anyone can mine that..how do you expect to even come close to buying that out?

I was just about to say that.

Gold would be one of the worst things we could do. Do you have any idea how big of a market gold ore is? Hundreds of thousands of units sold each day. It was on the most traded items list back when the GE had that.

We will get fucked over just like the Uncut Diamond if we choose Gold Ore or Gold Bar.

DO NOT pick gold ore, it is a horrible item, there is a new mine for P2P where you can sit at one rock and load up on gold and bank very close by. It will drop drastically, DO NOT buy gold ores/bars. They are crashing and the supply is going to be way higher then usual. If gold ore wins, we need to pick the runner-up, if we do gold ore then you are stupid if you actually invest in it, and will lose money for sure. There is no way we'll be able to keep up with the supply of gold, especially after the new update.

EDIT: Icefire, cause of the new update. There's way to much gold ore out in the market now.

G/E still has the most traded items list. Above price drops click "view trade info", it's actually right above the more link for price drops. ;)


By the way, even more gold bars are in circulation then gold ore, so both should be a no go.




Black Armour set (l) - seems ok

Goblin mail - to cheap to buy a lot, the cap for how many you can buy per hour would interfere with big investors

White bead - seems ok

Adam plateskirt (g) - reached it's peak and is crashing

Gold necklace - made from gold bars, too many gold bars in circulation

Gold Ore - too many of these in circulation to buy out

Gold Bar - same as above


seems like the only two choices would be Black Armour Set (l) and White Bead. Please only vote for one of these two, the rest are all bad items, except goblin mail, but it'd be too cheap to buy how many we'd want, there's a limit to how many you can buy per hour (air runes is 25k airs per however many hours, probably close to the same limit).


EDIT: One last thing, don't pick stuff cause of a pretty name, look into the item before you vote for it.

Skirts never really work for merching.

I like how you say that when he tells you guys, but not when I do :p.

he basically said every item shouldn't be merched but white beads, like I did, but he also said the black armour shouldn't be merched, I forgot it could be bought in a store, or I would have said the same :p. Since it can be bought in-store, I change my vote to white bead I guess, since it's the only item that can possibly work, besides the fact that it's a little cheap, so some people may hit the 4 hour limit when buying them.

EDIT: Already have it as white bead :p thought I voted for the armour set.



EDIT2: Just remembered, besides how cheap goblin mail is, making the 4 hour limit interfere, it would also be a horrible item because you can just take them out of a box in I think goblin village, if not then in lumbridge, but pretty sure it's goblin village.

they're just starting to raise so if we are gonna do this it needs to be soon, we need a white bead specific poll like the ancient staff because they went up 31 gp, doesn't seem like much, but the chart shows a smooth change in direction for prices, we need to jump on this if were gonna.

Its already too late for white beads. I tried buying one at max but it isnt coming so they are already merched..

Wow, not being able to buy a white bead at max SCREAMS "I am the new item"
Our problem last time was no one would sell diamonds at max.
These are in the perfect position on the graph, just after a drop and coming up on a rise.

I bought a couple to test it and they came in really slow for max price, which is perfect.

lmao, the runescape economy and g/e doesn't revolve around clan merching, it is possible that it is just in demand and isn't being merched you g/e noob :p

Black Armour Set. Might be a little pricey to merch, but i think it would be easier and more profitable ;)
