Well after 6 months of fiddling around with some of my own pet projects and having a few friends use it aswell I think it is time to put TheHHD to some real use!

If you have any ideas or projects or scriplets, etc that need something to be hosted you are welcome to host on TheHHD.

Considering that TheHHD stands for "The Hobbit Hole Database" this seems somewhat fitting for it to be its new purpose. Over the next week I will be reforming the website to accompany this new purpose. For the time being those who wish to have something can PM me or email me and I will get you all set up. Later on you will be able to apply right on the website and communicate through that.

• One FTP account per project (Unless requested and a need for more is proven)
• Unlimited disk Space
• Unlimited Bandwidth
• 99% uptime
• Free
• SQL Databases
• Plus much more

What this is for:

• Users of SRL who have an idea or project they would like to work on for SRL. Such as a DTM database, BMP Database, etc

Any questions feel free to contact me.

NOTE: I am leaving for Toronto for a work conference and will not be home until Sunday morning. I will start work for the new TheHHD then.

That is like awesome i will do it. *Reserved* I can set it up so you can like have your own logs, like word lists in brute forcing or use a preset. This could be use to conversate 2 bots at once.

Matters, how you think i should have it arranged?
Right now i have a bunch categories like axes, runes ext. and i was just going to have them all listed as categories and you click on it, and you can either click the view link next to the name or the download all.
View opens up a .txt with all DTM's stored, and download all downloads all dtms in that categorie. I have not made the bmps yet but theyd be easy. One of the reasons for this is to write scripts offline, which is why its downloadable and you dont have to open runescape.
I might make a app where you just search for the name of a object or person and then give you the code it in the form of bmp, dtm, color ext.

OOOOOH I thought you were going to link it into a script so that the script access the database somehow. Hmmm well you could use SQL Tables if you wanted for it but you dont need to if you want to keep it simple

That would not be hard. I could do it, but what you like best?
The script database would be easy, and a good idea.
Do you mean something where like i could make a procedure that calls the database, performs a action do the dtm (left click right click…) and then frees it?
I could do that very easily, only problem is i would have to make my own include or people would have to copy and paste the code behind it every script.
I need everyones oppionion, options:
1)I could make a DataBase include
2)You could copy the lines of code for the procedure every time (mabye people could save it to there defualt)
3)I could make a web database
4)I could make a separate IDE with a toolset that can call DTM's and click them, ext and sets your script up (like defualt)

Yeah, do that, and make it like so you can load the dtm or bitmap from the database into Scar's memory..might be laggy though :rollseyes:

Sure, and you can always redirect the URL to that if you want, so then it still shows up at DestinyScape

FTP is not working, tested index.html and went to neehopizzle.thehdd.com and nothing came up? Still saying invalid, is it set up yet? Im ready.

You need jdk, either windows or linux. and the files you need to run the .bat or whatever for linux and you need a port open.

His using shared hosting don't think you can. And the ram it uses is alot.

I'm trying to get though to the tech support to see if i can, pretty sure i can, but they need to enable it.

We tried remember, they won't let me run vent server. I'm still waiting to move my server upstairs (Waiting on running Ethernet cable though the walls) then I'll host vent.

Can do PHP/SQL part if hasn't been done yet.

Need website hosting aswell, ~200 MB hard drive space, though bandwidth may be various(If I ever get this running).. under 50 GB though. Uses caching, should be quite low CPU usage.
