I'd say I would make 2M too, even though I'd only make 1M.

He has a herb cleaning script afaik. Hence why the account makes a difference.

Basically I doubt the authors of the script mind gold from it being sold, but what matters is that here it comes on to the edge where it matters to Jagex, in other words they might do something about it… But, anyway, I'd say JAD is in the 'cannabusiness', if you know what I mean ;)

I thought I said before I've never even tried Sudoku. All the money I've made on my accounts was from herblore.

What is the problem here? Gold farming for people is allowed here, correct? Me doing it (NOT even autoing it) by putting herbs into vials of water is allowed, correct? I can make potions faster then my script can anyways, so I'm going to do it all legit on other people's accounts.

I don't understand… Why make a scene before getting your facts straight and talking to me about it?

Cadantines = at least 1.5M/hr right now. 1700 = cost per potion. Sell for 2200 = 500gp profit per potion. 1.5M/hr. If I buy lower then med and sell for higher then max, it's more like 2M/hr.

Also, you don't need any starting cash for sudoku, correct? (I really wouldn't know, because I've never used it/downloaded it) I put in the requirements for my service at least like 1M starting cash.

It basically looks like Script Selling to me.

Well really, there is no efficient way to transfer money any more. What's the difference between trading somebody 10M for $, or going on their account and making them 10M for $?

I may have auto'd some of it if the person said I was allowed to. I'm not going to lie. But it's not like I'm just auto wood cutting for them; something they could easily do on their own. Not too many people know of the method I use, and of those who do, very few know how to do it effectively enough to rake in millions per hour.

But also agree with JAD (economy in America especially California (where i live) is really crappy) and its hard as hell to get a job. If JAD wants to do monkey work for 2$ an hour that's up to him, hell maybe its even easier than a real job haha, sit in a chair, click around, relax, eat, listen to music, whatever).

So Wizzup you have a point, but JAD also can do what he wants with his time.

I live in a small town and can't get a job here. I have to pay for college as well, which is 2k a year (community college). Any chance I can take at making money, I will. $2 an hour for doing something fun, and is helping somebody else, really isn't that bad. And if they let me auto it, better yet.

Your thread just made me realize that Script Selling pretty much equals Gold Farming, possibly even worse. (Which on itself is worth a thread, I guess.)

The fact I made a thread about you, and not, for example - about Simtoon, is because you're the only SSRL selling gold.
And if you would use your SSRL status (read: Sudoku) to make more money than the rest, I figured it wouldn't really be fair, so I brought it up.

No, I am principally against selling scripts, and this would mean I am also against "Gold Farming". (As I've pointed out several times I think they don't differ a lot)
I realized however, that going against this now would certainly restrain the market so badly it would probably die off.
So I'm not going any further on this, we'll see what happens.

Perhaps you could equate gold farming by using a script to selling some usage of a script (mind you that the buyer doesn't know about the script), but even that's a stretch and there is no exchanging of a script occurring.

Using a script or not, seems the same as a questing, firecaping, or account training service to me. Either buyer cbf, doesn't have time, or the seller is better/more efficient at it.

I already thought you used your herblore script for money making, else I would've killed you a looong time ago ;)
No abuse of my script at other's accounts (ofc you're free to transfer your gps though).

I would say that goldfarming is more script lending if you were to equate it to a script based equivalent as they don't actually get the script, just the result of it.

The buyer is paying for it to be done for them, rather than for the means to do it, either because they are unable to, do not have the time to, or want the luxury of not having to do it.

Just my 2 cents, which are somewhat similar Boreas's, but only because I got my change from him after buying cookies.

And in this case, it's an I'll auto for you service at 2M+/hr, whereas you could only make like 200k per hour if you're lucky.
