Hey, i want to know if any of you ever went to the Woodward summer camp, or if you know any friend who has gone, and can answer me this questions..
Do you think it'd be worth to travel from Argentina to USA to attend the camp for one week?
Do you meet a lot of people?
Is it worth the price? (~$1000)
Do they actually teach you something?
Is it fun? :D
Any extra info is appreciated :D
If you have never heard about it, its an action sports camp (BMX in my case) located in PA,CA,CO and WI. I'm planning to go to the PA one, wich is the biggest one.
Well, thanks in advice, Shady?

I've heard about woodward camps. Never heard anything specifically about them though…I think they all have foam pits so you can try backflips and shit, but I don't know if it'd be worth a grand….you can get a lot of bike parts for that much money.
and I'm sure it would be a lot of fun.

I live pretty close to the one in PA, USA, I live in NJ. I never have gone, I was going to a few years back but never did. I am sure you meet lots of people and learn a lot. I definitely think it would be worth going. I am sure it is fun also and it's worth the trip if you make it worth it and let yourself have fun. There is a ton of stuff to do, many different parks, a PS2 lounge, pools, games, go-karts, rock wall, just so much stuff from what I read in a brochure. Whether or not it's worth the cost, well I guess that depends on how well you are doing financially, and how much you would enjoy the stuff to do there, I think it is a bit expensive, and that it should be around 400-600 dollars, but they do give you a lot of stuff, so I guess it's worth it.

ive been one week to the one in PA.
we got our cabin assigned and there were some cool people keep in mind you personality so u may have different views than me.
Its alot of fun. make sure you bring a lot of extra money for the camp itself cause its got shops and little stores for snacks and whatnot.
the only bad thing was that you always have to wear your helmet and pads no matter what, if your out of the park even

with your comment "no matter what" I also assumed you had to wear safety gear the entire time
