This friday my school nurse comes into class, says briefly that the swineflue will hit the entire world and about 40% of the world (lol) will get infected and some will even die.

Heres the kicker - She says the flue will hit 40% of the world in a week or so, and the vaccine will be out for the public in a month, + she says taking the vaccine is free to take or not to take (emo month or wut?), you take u live, you dont u die.

There are two people in my advisory class that got it a few months ago :S

Lies, the statistics are flawed, the death rates on regular flu and based upon year and year of being around. The H1N1 are based on what, 6 months? I dont see W.H.O putting out a pandemic alert every time someone chuck their lunch. I have H1N1, (got blood test back today) I feel like hell, much worse then any other flu I have every had when i was younger.

I heard that it hurts everywhere when you get it.

One of my friends had it and said he just layed in bed all day, and it hurt to even move his eyes.

Pfft swine flu who cares, its just spreads very easily, if someone has swine flu and they sneeze on there hand and then touch a table (Or any other hard surface) the virus will live on that table for 2 days, spreading easily to anyone else who touched that table then they touch there mouth/nose they will get it.

It's not that lethal it just spreads very very easily

I always watch my hands very closely, I never where they might go if I don't :p

we have 3 suspected cases at my university, the blood has been sent to a lab for testing.

I am in school, and it has been reported that over 2000 students are sick. Of that 2000, I think 20ish are down with the piggs.

What is the difference between bird flu and swine flu?

Idrk if I get it or not. If I get it, I probably wouldn't die. After all, seasonal flu can ALSO be H1N1. I'm pretty sure this is a mutated gene.
