As the other thread got confusing with all the changes of votes, here we go again.

If you haven't yet read the first thread, please do so here.

The decision came down to Varrock or Lumbridge.
Lumby:

• Fishing (lvl 20+)
• WCing (lvl 1 - 60+)
• Mining (lvl1 - 70+)
• RC (lvl 5+)
• Fighting (lvl 1+)
• Mage (lvl 1+)
• Range (lvl 1+)
• Crafting (lvl 1+) (ball of wool, flax)
• Smelting
• Wool Collecting (not really profitable, but could be usedfor crafting xp)
• Quests: Sheep Shearer, Cook's Assistant

Varrock

• WC (lvl 1 - 60+) //can buy rune axe at GE
• Mining
• Can buy picks at GE
• Silver and Clay mining = profit
• Iron Mining = fast XP
• Mining Rune Essence
• Possibly fish at barbarian, bank at VWB
• Runecrafting (lvl 9+)
• Smithing
• Cooking (range)
• Fighting (lvl1 - 60+)
• Magic (safe spots)
• Range (safe spots)
• Firemaking (long,long road)
• Plank Making
• Filling vials with water
• Clay -> Soft Clay
• Make STR Pots at apocathery/potions guy
• QUESTS: Demon Slayer, Romeo & Juliette
• Buying all equipment on GE

I believe varrock is better because it can offer everything or an equivalent to everything lumbridge does PLUS it has the GE so we can actually buy materials to go faster.

You guys convinced me. Having laid out like that makes it more clear to me, good job. :)

Varrock.

I keep my vote on Lumbridge.

Lumby first, varrock as soon as lumby is done.

Ive actually changed my idea once agagin.
I strongly advocated Varrock in the last thread but after a chat with Boreas, Ive decided lumbridge.

If your account is new, then you've got all the supplies you need.
If not, get them and home tele.

My main argument for lumbridge first is because it offers all of what new characters need AND we can all just home tele our asses there easy!
Mining/Wc/Fighting
(Copper/tin mine)/ (Trees everywhere) (Cicken, Goblin, Cows)

On the other hand for Varrock you gotta walk/tele there (not a huge deal), but it makes more sense for lumbridge first because after we do lumbridge and start varrock, we can make a Lumby to Varrock walker script which would be perfect for moving our characters around.

So it just makes more sense to do lumby first and then varrock, even though they are both equally good in my opinion.

I think the GE method of buying materials would just be a waste of time. Like it's the players fault if they don't have an axe, like stop the script and get one yourself. Then run the script again.

So I'm going to vote lumbridge as it's better for leveling lower skills.

There is an army relocater ;) Banking at lumbridge is a pain in the ass, and the supplies you have are bronze supplies, i really don't imagine someone cutting Lumby's yews with bronze axes.

ehh true, I'll let's just pick one already. Change me vote to varrock

Once reflection is up we can take care of the banking for lumby or the walking to varry pretty easily. Just get to a decision, and either way it will work out.

I think we should have had a 'who is this script aimed at?' thread before this thread. Is it for fresh accts, or accounts with WC high enough to chop yews? Single or army?

Well I'm guessing since the script is a combined effort of a bunch of SRL Members, this will be popular among all autoers, from the low levels to the high.

Everyone working on this project will be experienced scripters (for the most part :p), and I think all types of players will want to use it.

Agreed. And all types of players can do low level stuff and have easy access to lumby, but not all players can do higher level stuff, or have money to buy stuff at GE.

Indeed. It's a tough call, we'll have to see how the votes turn out. :p But, in my opinion, I don't think it's a big deal which one we do first because we'll end up doing the other one next. And, if we get enough people working avidly on this, I have a feeling it'll get done sooner than we think. :)

Meh, I don't know what to vote for. I voted for lumby in the last thread, and I really like the goblin hut there and stuff. And the fact that if we get lost, we can simply home tele.

RM convinced me that Varrock was the better choice on msn, so I guess I'll go with that.

Boreas: The bad thing about that, is that players do gain levels :p The thought had been for it to be for players fresh out of tut. But after a day or two of autoing they should be able to do quite some high level stuff.

Let's go Varrock!

It can still be used by players coming off of TUT island, they just have to walk to Varrock.
