I bought for all my money at max and they were sold to me after a second. I got some money back too..

I have bought it with 6.2 m at max. I got money back then bough again on max, etc until I don't got more money.

If your gonna do uncut, you may as well do diamonds as well? Because this will cause I raise in both.

Spent 7mil worth (all I had minus the 3.6 mil I have in armor/weapons 10total-3 = 7 spent), if someone can get me a members pin I'll buy another 13 mil worth on one of my accounts that is stuck with member items.

I spent 1.7M on this. I have 178 uncuts. And do not buy cut diamonds, this won't help our uncuts, and if cuts go up with them, which they probably will, it doesn't matter, buying them also won't help us, it'll just make uncuts go up half as much, if we split our money between both.

EDIT: I put in an offer for one at market, took no time to get it, they are currently going for 9008 gp, which is 373 gp below market. We need to start buying a lot more.

I think we shouldve waited, the reason there are so many to be bought is cause the last dump left so many in there.

It went up for 2 months continually till the dump, and it didnt fall half way before we decided to buy.

My 2 cents.

Once we bought everything the price will rise :). If we dont manage to do that "alone" we can still try to advertise our idea, and get a greater amount of buyer.

I told you guys look at the 90 days, but you guys still voted for it anyway… I still bought though, even though I knew it wasn't at it's normal price. Whatever, we should still be able to pull out a little profit, I don't think we need anybody yet, let's wait 2-3days and see if it rises, then if not, we'll advertise the item.

EDIT: If we ever need to advertise, I have a clan set up for SRL to use. For now you can send me your RS names and I'll add them all, tell me what rank you want, if you don't tell me what rank I'll give you general. Normal RS players won't be ranked, or will be lowest rank with no powers :p. I don't think we'll ever need this, but it's just incase. So if you wanna be ranked in a cc I made for srl just PM me.

EDIT2: By the way, if you wanna know the account just PM me, doesn't matter if JaGex knows were from SRL as long as you don't auto on the acc in the clan, and I won't be autoing on this account, so JaGex can't do anything bout us having a clan. But even if you auto on your main and bring it in cc, you'll most likely be just as safe as you were before in my opinion.

I really didn't vote for this item because the price is going to go down 1k or 2 before reaching equilibrium. A merchanting clan just recently hit these hard, and they haven't gotten back to normal yet.

I just don't want it to fail though, so I'll put about another 100M in and see how it goes.

That doesn't tell you the price, that tells you what idiots are selling them for.

In an earlier post of mine from yesterday I said one sold for 9008, I didn't say it's price was 9008, Cause just misinterpreted it. But at least they are selling for higher. But we already knew that because Runescape Pro said he put in for market and after a bit they stopped selling at market. We need to keep buying more though, we need to be getting them for max, not market.


EDIT: antti mies, I'm only going to advertise our item if the SRL Merching section decides we need help raising the price, but one cc should be enough. And Runescape Pro, we wouldn't be leaking it, we would only do it if everyone agrees we need help raising the price. I made an acc because earlier in the thread we were talking bout maybe advertising the item.

We should have waited until we saw a rise and then started buying.
That set us back a bit but pretty soon we should be seeing them getting sold at max price.

yea, I didn't think we should've bought as soon as we did, but the current market price is 9578 gp and I just bought one and it went for 9650 gp so it's going to be rising, and soon going for max. :)

Wow guys this is really gonna work… its impossible to even buy uncut diamond at max price right now… and they they will sell instantly at 9,600 gp or less

I really hope this works, it will build up everyones confidence in this :D

So we just keep the Uncuts when we've bought them, or do we sell at max and repeat?

Keep them untill we hit the max price. Then we dump. Then once everyone has got rid of their diamonds we shall move onto the next item.

If we keep track of past successfull merchants we can always come back to them once their price has dropped.

Just for anyone late on the buying, and having trouble buying uncuts, try buying normal as well. This is called "chaining" as a price increase in this, will also cause an increase in normal diamonds too.

No… erm. It's better to wait until right after the max goes up and then if you're quick you should be able to buy them at the new higher max.

Yea it's better to just keep buying the item we are doing so we make it go up more, we don't want to try to do two items yet apparently… So everyone, invest in the same item, it'll make us all more money.

Your screwing it up dude. You NEED to buy at max otherwise price wont rise at all. Since you bought a bunch a mid, your shifting the price more to mid, instead of raising it.

I think they were way too easy to get at the time we started buying so some of us got all of their money spent faster.
And as of right now I can't sell one market.

Wait a few days until thers a huge demand for the X item.
Then sell them all at max, and people will buy them.

My suggestion would be to wait until you have the best opportunity then sell, as a group.

Then move onto a new item. I don't see this one going anywhere.

I bought one at max and it came at 9563 which is almost 100gp over max.
Why couldnt this still work?

And btw ppl say that uncut diamond price has gone up too much before our merch. That has happened to like all items… I really think uncut diamond wouldnt have dropped like 1k or 2k like some peple are saying..

Uncut diamond is a perfectly working item to merch, I've seen it done.
We just did it wrong.
We bough when they were going down, and when an item is going down it won't matter what price you put up for it, it will be going down.
Next time we should test to see if we can actually get the item at max price.
I never once got to buy a diamond for over market price.

I vote for dumping now. Lets not waste our time hoping to break even/not lose any more GP. Lets cut our losses, and pick an item with a much lower supply next time so we can actually influence the market.

i vote for dump, in fact i am glad i didnt buy much. For all those hoping to wait it out, it won't. After such a massive rise from a previous merch, it will steadily drop to its original price. Whenver theres a drop, thers always a small hop but not enough to save this merch. Everyone, we need to dump

Well, this wasn't a loss for me. I made 30k off of my 150 diamonds.

Sold at minimum, lost 1m.

Sold at middle instantly.

sold at middle. About 400k+ :D..

Sold all at 733 at 9400, I honestly have no idea how much I lost… prob like 10k-70k…. my death price is the probably exact same since zamorak has gone up.

Tryna sell at max. If they sell then ill lose only 500k. Right now its looking like my net loss is gonna be 2-3m. Hopefully the next item will be better ;).
