Try separating the DTM loading procedure from the function. Other than that, I think the only reason would be bad DTMs.

Always keep the DTM/s local if possible.
It looks like it's your DTM's. Try making new ones and see if that works.

I would make them local, but i call them in like 3 different procedures so for now I am keeping it global, but yeah. I will try a new DTM. Cheers
