@Notepad - Notepad but better

Hello everyone, at my grandma's today I made a replacement for notepad - @Notepad. It's the same as notepad but slightly better, only thing I have taken out of it is printing, if you wanted to do that you'd use wordpad.

So, features:

-Time/date in status bar
-Change foreground, background colour and font
-Recoloured notepad icon! Yaay! (Green this time)
-Lua scripting functionality (functions below)
-Showable/hidable debug box
-Fancy menu icons! Yaay!
-Neets .NET 3.0. Waah!
-Tray icon that can show balloons (balloons controlled by scripts)

Source coming soon, need to find it on my laptop.

Functions:
Print(s) : Same as SCAR WriteLn.
Alert(s, title) : Shows a messagebox.
Popup(s, title) : Shows a balloon in the tray.
Status(s) : Changes @Notepad's status bar text. (Right of time/date)
Read(s) : Reads a file and returns a string.
Write(s, data) : Writes to a file.
Append(s, data) : Appends to a file.
Wait(t) : Waits for <t> milliseconds.
MethodSafeCall(method, args[]) : Calls a function that resides inside @Notepad's code using C#'s reflection. Experimental testing feature, no real point.

Ewww, Windoze. :(

Also,

Cannot open Notepad Setup.msi
No such file or directory

Edit: was because of your silly @ symbol >_> Why would you put symbols in a program name? :(

What, like Notepad++? Besides at first it was a typo and I was too lazy to remove it from the name :P

Very nice, did you use real compiling or just interpreting?

Ooh, cool.

Check out SynEdit and the features it offers.
Amongst others, you'll find the syntax highlighter I use in my SUNotepad, and also a codehint feature which I'd really like to see in this app.

Good job, though.

E: That is, if you used Delphi to make this.
You should've posted it in the correct subforum.

Interpreting I think, it uses LuaInterface so I'm not sure if it compiles it to memory. I dunno.
EDIT: Damn, EvilChicken!, you posted the same time as me.
Codehints and Syntax highlighting - it's main purpose is only a notepad replacement so I don't know whether I will implement it, people wouldn't want a hint every time they write print. Good idea, I could let people toggle it.

It's very good, Notepad and Calc in one + little bit scripting, I love it.
Make it even better add uploading support or something.
Plus batch script support to generate one.
Then I will probably use it.

Uploading script, you say? Like, where everyone can put their scripts?
I would, but who would supply the hosting? You? Me? My hosting doesn't allow public uploads, but if you would let me use your server…
Muhahaha. Tomato sauce incoming.
EDIT: Btw, need more ideas before making another version. Otherwise I'd be tracking like 2 versions per update, ie. updating updates, if you get my drift.

Or, you could let people activate it the standard way by pressing CTRL+SPACE.
I was just thinking you'd add more commands later on, and this would keep it more organized.

You should check out Scintilla as highlighter, it's pretty cool and also offers features like code folding, multiple selection, param completion and auto completion.

The program looks pretty neat :) It would be nice if you could use the script engine to modify the document.
