Instead of flaming him for not using the search button, why not point him in the right direction, guys? I'm sure you're all well aware that searching 'how to get scar working' will get you absolutely nowhere.

Cup - Try checking out the Tutorial Island section for a guide that suits your needs :)

when you search "how to get scar working", both Dark_Sniper's Setup Scar and SRL Repository! and Bego's Ultimate Noob Tutorial! are stickied. -.-

Ultimate Noob Tutorial is for scripters and is outdated. Dark_Sniper's is also outdated (uses Tigris SvN, etc to download SRL).

I see the only updated guide, Coh3n's, on the second page, though it may be higher some days and lower the next depending on how often people post there. Besides, it's filled up with tons of other completely irrelevant topics, enough to make anyone tired of searching and/or miss the thing they're looking for.

Yeah, we can't have every other new user making threads on how to start, but if every so often one comes along, why not help him instead of flaming him…

EDIT: Tico also has a good suggestion, Cup ;)

Hmm I think we switched from Tigris SvN for some reason. Forget what it was, maybe newer SCAR versions don't support it or something. Not sure. Either way, using Tortoise SvN is most popular nowadays.
