Greetings.

I don`t know is this write place, but there is a problem when I run script with Smart, haven`t tried to run without Smart.

This shows up in the Scar…

SMART Initialized.

What could be wrong?

THe new gameengine broke reflection.
Method needs to update his updater :p

Hope Method gets some help fixing the hooks, this downtime is murder lol. None of the scripts will login, i heard that was cuz the fix graphix script was bad. Seems like RS is really laying down the law now adays. You almost never see a Lev 3 autoer anymore, which is nice, but means they can detect the bots much better. What we need now is the most undetectable bots possible =)

I love the feature that Tad put in many of his scripts to change world depending on the amount of players on MM, I set it to 1… no ones gonna report me as long as i don't wonder around trying to find the bank, thats the worst.

How would i actually know if the hooks are up to date?

I have the same question… how far are we in the progress? When do you think you're ready? I see RSBot is almost done with updating the hooks, can't we just copy there hooks?

Why do something twice, besides, they use reflection for much longer time, we already stole it once.

there's a difference between reflection and rsbot, its not the same.

I was going to say we should ask nexus for there hooks, since they were running only 2 days after the update. but i suppose if it dosnt work like that with rsbot it wouldnt with nexus either :P

I believe the hooks are the same.

IT would be nice to get some sort of report on how far along updating the hooks is :)

Well. rs2bot (not rsbot2) is up and working, so i imagine it cant be that hard if some skiddies can get it working :S

This "rs2bot" is just Nexus/iBot rebranded.

The hooks are the same, the GroundX and GroundY, item IDs, NPC's, etc., they are all still the same. Item ID's won't change from one auto to the next, and neither will the other thing's mentioned such as a tile ID and npc. If you compare our hooks to RS bots you will see they are all the same, only thing I found different once a long time ago, I think, was the GroundX and GroundY were switched between scar and rs bot. Don't know why, but if you use a scar debug to get the tile, it wouldn't really matter I guess. But just be patient, I'm sure method is doing his best for you guys.

lol nexus is back up because they are being payed for there bots, they would lose costomers if they allowed a update to take longer than a few days to fix.

but if the hooks are all the same anyways, why dont we ask around in some of the other comunitys if they would share with us?

Yeah.. it seems like everysingle script I used was reflection of partially reflection… and every script I have written in reflection. So I haven't been able to bot at all X.X

Who are the other reflection devs?

Method is the designated "updater" so I don't think any other dev has made/kept theirs up-to-date.

If we find the hooks smart wont need a rewrite? The just extract rsbot for steal them like we did for a while.

As you can see, RsBot still has about 7 hooks to fix. I'm guessing by the time RsBot is successfully updated, Method should (HOPEFULLY :p) be done.

Yes, all hooks are, are links to classes and methods in the runescape.jar.

Nobody actually answered my question, how would i know if the hooks were up to date, like SRL, with their public revision releases, what about reflection (I'm still a ref nub :p, but i'm going to use it in the future).

The revision will be 153 when the hooks are updated. Unless someone adds a worthless(atm) function. But I doubt it.

Call SetupReflection;

That'll automatically update the hooks for you if they are available.

Every time someone asks "When the hooks will be up again?"

adds a day or a few hour to our hooks to be updated. <- No joke! :eek:
So I would advise everybody not to ask that again, please.
Method is working on it and it WILL BE updated, but he won't be faster if you guys asking about it ;).

Pretty long post about a simple thing … and it was said before by others.

And I am sure you WILL BE informed when the hooks are up.

Well, Method sent me the hooks he finished a day or 2 ago, so less than 6 hooks. {Might be lower} Method = :norris:

Uhhhh.. It was on a private pastebin lol. Its not in the include yet. :duh:

Maybe it's a good idea to let us see how far the progress is?

As far as I know Qauters is the only one working on redesigning the bot.
