yes am using the following code copied from a forum post. as well as Coh3n's PowerChopper and several others that ran fine last night/ this morning till i logged out for a while.
have rebooted a couple times but will try again.
here is the testing code
program TestSMARTLogin;
{.Include SRL\SRL\Misc\SMART.SCAR}
{.Include SRL\SRL.SCAR}
procedure DeclarePlayers;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer := 0;
Players[0].Name := 'user'; //Your RS username
Players[0].Pass := 'pass'; //Your RS password
Players[0].Nick := 'nick'; //3-4 letters from name
Players[0].Active:= True;
end;
begin
SMARTSetupEx(2, False, True, False);
Wait(5000);
SetTargetDC(SmartGetDC);
repeat
wait(100);
until(SmartGetColor(253, 233)<>1118604);
SetUpSRL;
DeclarePlayers;
LogInPlayer;
Wait(2000 + Random(1000));
MMouse(388, 281, 3, 3);
Wait(2000 + Random(1000));
MMouse(4, 100, 3, 3);
Wait(3000 + Random(1000));
LogOut;
TerminateScript;
end.
this did work fine, filled in the DeclarePlayers part and would open a smart window for a few seconds and close it, then open smart again (perhaps because SetupSRL seems to include a section that also runs SmartSetup?) and login, mouse around a few times then logout. i put a Writeln in after SetupSRL and that never appears in the debug window.
course same thing happens in Coh3n's and other bots. since it looks like many other people are working fine using those bots, it must be something with my system but am failing to see what it is.
————– edit ————————
the smart screen does open just like it should, and i get the following in the debug window
Successfully compiled (3037 ms)
SRL Compiled in 16 msec
SMART Initialized.
Loaded: Server 90, Members: False, Signed: True, Super Detail: False.
but there is no red mouse cursor and the script never seems to return from the SetupSRL call.

ok well it seems that if for some reason the graphics settings get changed to resizeable window then none of the things in loginplayer seem to work. had confirmed finally that i was making it out of SetupSRL by temp shortening of the loop timing at end of that routine. had tried rebooting with no luck. so checked graphics settings manually and noticed it was set to resizeable. changed to fixed. and re-ran the macro/bot/script and it worked fine then. did i miss a warning about making sure settings are always on fixed size somewhere?
