Just want your opinion.
It happens like 100% of the time that someone makes a good argument, and then someone posts "Rep ++ :) xD :p"
Most of the time it's like some moderator or someone who got brains posts something as "blablabla People should spam less blablbla", then someone reacts with Rep++ as post… get the irony?
It's not bad to say to someone he made a good post I would appreciate it too.
Anyways, allow it or not? you can also just REP++ and he will notice. He has done something right.

You can misread the first sentence :P.

Posting +1 may not seem like much but it shows support for someones argument. It is just easier to put +1 than it is to put "Oh yes I agree with so and so because of this and this" because you only end up re-iterating their point anyways.

I dont mind people posting "+1" but when people post +1 and the mod says "No spam" then the mod follows that up with the next post they make being "+1" it gets kinda disappointing.

I dislike how mods abuse the rules a lot and never get in trouble

Yeah, that was sort of my opinion, but yeah…
Lately is see Mastaraymond spamming around a lot.(Just noticed no offense, or something)
Probably by now mods/admin will check my posts for spam because they can't have it personal, just noticing.

I've noticed Yoho to be a spammer sometimes since he got back too. Still <3 him though :).

Markus has been noted by me to spam a couple times too.

Spam is good in related sort of matter, since being serious only would ruin the fun; but lately spam is too much here.

It's not contradicting at all, the SRL Source library isn't "nearly death" IMO, but it's about Scar Resource Library not about Spam Resource library.
Get the point? Lots of spam gives activity; but false activity.

huh? say what? SRL dead? I don't know any forums with a specific/limited (limited as in interests) user group which are more active than this forum…. :confused:

Anywayz, it doesn't really bother me that much… and it's actually quite nice to be quoted with a "+1" instead of a "omg, u phail nub" after it. ;)

In ye olden days this thread had a topic, but since that topic is long gone I figure I'll leave my opinion atop its grave.

It reads something like: "+1 posts are useful for discussions/debates since they arguably double the strength of an argument's support.

Also, SRL has a pretty nice selection of mods. There's the stingyish ones (read: Wizzup and Nielsie maybe), and then there's the lax ones (read: Everyone else)"
