Well I dont realy play RS anymore maybe ill go on for a pk or two if im realy bored which left my Main useless then i got into selling mills on the black market so i started back into autoing(stress Mining Pure Ess on lvl 20s) but all my miners kept getting banned(i think it was jsut Sress Miner 7.6 was a bad version with some bugs)so i didnt feel like making new acounts and autoing them up again so i looked to my main and decided to buy PMHs auto Fletcher and mad cows guid Miner(Great Scripts :)) ive autoed around 40 hours on him and i usualy leave scripts on for long periods of time(5 hours wiht one user dont normaly do)yet i still get minumum randoms and havnt gotten any black marks for macroing so is autoing on mains the way to go or are you gonna stick with ur noob level 20s?

Ok I auto on my main, more than I should, but I advocate not autoing on your main. Here's why. It's not of question of if you get banned, it's when. Same with extreme sports such as base jumping. But you say, there are base jumpers that died from something other than base jumping, and plenty of base jumpers alive. Well that's because the when didn't come before old age etc. Same with autoing. Every account you auto on will get banned eventually. If you are lucky/careful/intelligent that won't happen before you quit rs, or stop autoing on that account.

So now it comes to the age old equation of gambling. Do the odds of failing match up with the payout? If you auto luckily/carefully/intelligently the life expectancy before bannage increases. It's hard to guess this percentage. Then you have to consider your bet, your potential loss, which is your account and everything on it. Then you have to consider what you could gain, levels, money, gp, items. Then you have to compare all these things, yet still crossing your fingers and closing your eyes.

Personally, if my main got banned, I would get over it very quickly and concentrate on my army, of course I am still trying to last as long as possible. I would get bored if I played 100% legit, I understand and accept the risks. Most people do not, which is why I advise against it.

If you want to take the risk (and how much risk you want to take), it is your choice. However more research and thought has been put into the least risk with most reward method, which has been found to be army of 'noobs'.

To answer your question, there is more than one way to go, depending on what you want, each with its pros and cons, risk and rewards. The general consensus here, and the method with the most support, research, techniques, and scripts, is using an army, as opposed to main.

i have 8.4/10 black marks on my main for macroing….even though i've never macroed on ym main………..i still dont get how they got that 1………..well mid you 3 of the black marsk are offencive language….but stilll…….i stick with 30s

I could care less if my main got banned cause then id go concetrate on my bot army once again so im defenitly all for it but i guess im jsut a dare devil :P

I don't think its a big deal to auto on your main. I actually think you less likely to be banned if you auto on your main and maybe 2 other 55 + accounts. I use my lvl 84 and it works fine, I think if you have played for the most part legit with your character once you get up to lvl 80 autoing can be reall easy with high lvl chars.

i use noobs becuase i share my main with my cusin. other wise i wud auto on him

I started autoing my main shortly after Wizzy released his powerminer. I havent played on my main legit ever since. Got from 79 to 85 mining entirely by autoing.
I also macroed lots of other skills hoping ill ever benefit from it when ill start playing again.

Still havent got any black marks on that main. And hey what do i get to loose, if i get banned it will only be temp ban for 3 days:spot:

I auto on my main but i watch it so it doesnt do something stupid like die…I only auto over night on lower lvl charaters "noob". So I'd say i use for both…

it seems a realy bad idea, in my opinion, to auto on your main, cuz he will get banned sooner or later. unless you dont care about him being banned(i would just because, who cares if you lost a bunch of level 30's)

well my 'noobs' are level 40-or-so (i just love autofighting)

I have a great urge to auto on my main, but I can never bring myself away from the computer for too long because I just really don't wanna lose this account hehe.

If you don't want to loose the account then the answer is quite simple. Don't auto.

Another problem with autoing on mains happened to Ollie recently. He was autoing on it, and then accidentally posted his name/pass here in a script.

I've done the same, but never with my main because I don't auto on it. That would really suck to risk your main both to Jagex and to your own dumb mistakes that everybody makes eventually.

I made that mistake too, lost quite a bit Runescape money (green mask 3 mill). It taught me not to take a game so seriously and review your posts! But I still think autoing on your main isnt that bad…

i almost lost my account using a stupid program. i learned a good lesson, its not worth autoing on your main. all the work u put in your skills gone…not worth it

rofl, im always autoing on my main, i have been for over 4 months, although i mix it up a bit, maybe auto about 4-5 hours a day, then go on to do something else in other areas of skill's, and i have NO black marks on my main what so ever!

on main rs page click appeal offence/ban and login in

crap, just got main banned, lol, 14 black marks, i bothered appealing, but that was a week ago and still pending, ah well, over it now, good bye rs, crap game, lol

A good way not to get your auto's band is make it 20+ then make sure its off when you eat and atleast for 10 hours (so basicly like the auto is sleeping)Also if you use a different auto every day it will throw jagex off.

my main got caught macroing and well…they banned her 10/10 blackmarks with no chance of appealing…*cries*

my noobs got caught for macroing and had a last CHANCE appeal….

i used to auto my main until i gave it to my lil brother (he changed pass and he forgot it, grr)
now i use my pure as my main now.. (i auto on it though)
but now that i dont have my REAL main anymore i eventually started to auto more.

members get slightly more leaway because we are basically paying their salery…and if they ban us…they lose money……….

HAha the funny thing is ur completely right :) i autoed on my main and i got banned for macoring 17.5/10 BLACK MARKS! loL! and they let me off with a last chance appeal wich is appealing and will probably get unbanned lol makes me laugh but idc atleast i will get my account back :)

i prefer to use noob chars…. just incase i get banned

lol yah and if you go appeal offence there is an appologise option…i had an offence for rule1 …. i got muted for 7 days so i decieded to appologise see if that did anything…1 day into my mute they removed the offence and unmuted me…….wow i love being a member:spot: :stirthepot:

I usually Auto on my main, Because, I never get caught. I always make my own scripts, or Edit someone elses For my own use. Never been reported (For macroing at least). I have like 6 black marks for Rule one, And I didn't Even Say anything bad… I hate Rule one sometimes.

I autoed on my main it was lvl 90 with 70 mage (lol) it was a year ago i didnt use proxy and used aryan but i used scar for fletching on my main but that didnt get me banned but the not proxy using was a big mistake of mine i autoed a few days ago to on my new main (cb 65) ii used the Mage Curser and it was soo nice:) i didnt have to do all that clickwork lol=P but not got banned on that one =]

You should of put a " Both " option , i would of ticked it.

This is still the current version. People make it out to be really good but ive got it as well and i think it was a waste of rs cash. I sent two videos of errors to star but he has yet to reply (I sent them about a month ago)

I voted noobs, by noobs i mean my bots around lvl 25 or so. rather get them banned then my main. and i don't want my main flagged :p

i just got my bot perm banned… shame was up to woodcutting 86 with it lol. Level 49 with various other stats here and there so i am appealing… i dont think an apology would get me off for rule 7 and i dont think i should claim it was someone else so i think i'll claim they made a mistake and see what happens.
Whats the best option to appeal under for rule 7 and has anyone ever had a ban lifted for macroing??

never apologize, even if u are a member, they wil say breaking ruels is breaking rules so too bad ^^ ( personnel exprience)



also used some flax spinner, got caught , banned, appealed failed( member lvl 96)

they ixed appeal system ( got another appeal)

Denied again ( i denied it both times lol)

No matter, u had like 5 lvl 40s from bak in the days i used lvl 40 pures to pk r2hs lol

Overlastsummer built another char to my main now its even better ^^

I do it on my main. Mostly because I use auto'ing to train my skills. Back in the old days with the old SCAR and all that I used noobs too but thats a looooong time ago.

I just don't think its worth the risk on my main for the time I put into it. Autoing on noobs can be just as lucrative if ya know what your doing.
