I think he means just having general forums, like ones for accounts, gold, and services instead of subforums for buying and selling within each of those. People can put whether they're buying or selling each of those in their topic.

Sure, trash the subboards (but leave the topics, please, just kick them to the outer forum)

started doing this. Also, removed user's right to delete own threads in case of scams, like harry suggested. We mods would still be able to dig them up but oh well.

Should i maybe let them close their own threads instead? I think that'd be better. Except in the general section.

We do, but even so it could still create drama.

"oh yeah, he scammed me and then deleted the thread"

1. Ruin Someone's rep
2. Have us searching for the thread
3. Have us announcing no such thread was found / ever existed
4. And so on

I think locking rights for services / buying will be better than deleting, as it avoids drama and they can close their business whenever they want.
