Well, yeah, I haven't really done some space art after those four crappy plain ones :p

So, I'd decided I'd give it another shot!

And here's my final product (i reckon i screwed up the star field :p), please comment (even if it's criticism!) :):

:D

[QUOTE=Dan's The Man;624343]Thanks.

I think what he means is:

"The planet looks a bit 2D, so the clouds look like part of the planet instead of standing out."

Welcome back Squig! You might not remember me, but meh!

looks like earth with saturn's rings to me, and I have no clue how I knew it was saturn's rings, it was just a gut feeling, so I googled it and was surprised to see it was the rings I was thinking of. But also, looks like you can see stars through the sun, seems a little unrealistic, even if you could stare at the sun without the brightness making you not really able to see the details of what you're looking at. But nice pic, looks pretty good

Looks pretty good for a beginner, stars have a bit too much color variation, rings and planet seem a little cartoonish.

Well, they are my rings :p They aren't Saturns xD And no, it isn't Earth (if you have guessed :p) Also, it's just the sun's rays in the top right, it isn't the Sun itself xD (so it would show some transparency).

Thanks all the same :D

Hehe thanks. I know i put too much colour variation in the starfield, as i stated in the first post xD

And i thought they looked kinda real xD

Thanks as-well :)

Why is the sun just one big brownish radial gradient? and the the planet needs way more text and better shadow/highlights

Well, the sun isn't a radial gradient.. It's a brush, which i set outside the picture which only makes it show of the suns rays (i have no better way to make a sun :p)

And text? Text on the planet? Please elaborate.

Thanks :)

I think he means texture.
