Play RuneScape Script?

The Prince of Randomness?

2006-04-02 16:09:57

I think we could do a play RuneScape Script, meaning it has Miners ,woodcutters, fishers , power miners, fighters, fletchers, and maybe typers, and link them all together and use RoadWalking to put them together, we could do

Case Random(5) of
1:EastVarrockMine
2:DraynorWillow
3:CatherbyFish
4:VarrockType
5:ChickenKill

Or something like that, or you could do everything in a time put in by user.

Writeln('Begginning Chopping');
Writeln('We will be chopping for'+IntToStr(ChopTime));
Begin
If(FindColorTolerance(……..

Could do the same for everything.
with checks to see if anything goes wrong
We could have pures that only fight, then log onto the main and start fishing etc…

You're on crack. What about un-solveable randoms? What about when it DOES mess up? I could see this working for like an hour with no mess ups. Not gonna happen.

pali, you could, scratch that, CAN do anything with scar.

The Prince of Randomness, nice idea. Was you thinking somthing along the lines of combining a wooducutter or woodcutting procedurees with a poweminer or powerminer procedures then adding map walking between? It would be probally the most undetectable script for us.

I mean common, who can do tut island without getting time to read it all and then proceed to getting high levels in all skills? :o

The script, depending on how flawless it may be. Would be huge.

And map walking would be a bitch. (Detecting where you are, walking to the next place). -.-
It's just a little to hard.

Not impossible.

Everything is possible with the correct programming, if you think about it you could program your life with enough checks and failsafes… Whats more fun is teaching a computer how to do something ;) I wonder how much computer power it would take to make a nural net that complex ;)

Well it would be a huge script but.. Why not just play runescape? If you're going to auto you usually have a particular skill in mind.. Maybe you could select some common skills like woodcutting, fishing and mining and then have a preference (one skill to spend more time on than the others)…
It's quite possible but it depends how far the script has to walk and what type of procedures are used (DTM-finding, BMP-finding)..

I only play this game to cheat, I hate the game actually. I love trying to make programs/scripts to play games for me. The only real fun that RuneScape gives me is trying to cheat on it.

So true, anything that man can make, man can destroy.

lol idnt that the truth… but i think man tries to advance it to its highest potential before trying to trying to destroy it.

anyway.

this is very possible if we all pitch in.

like we all make a procedure or somthing.. like make a whole essminer and put it into SRL and make it so you can call upon the whole srcipt by just puting into scar

ESSMINER_script;

this way it makes it easy on us and anyone can configure it into the way they want it.

simpleR terms..

SRL will hold the skill scripts.
These skill scripts can be called upon useing their givin name.
this will activate the script and run it for the repeated number of times.
after that the next skill script will be called upon.

Example

procedure play_RS;
var
a:integer;
begin
Repeat
ESSMINER_script;
A:=A+1
until(a:=10)
A:=a-a
//(map walikng porcedure to next place)
repeat
powerminer;
a:=a+1
until(a=25)
(sorry thats nothing like i script i just typed stuff)

ect………..

this way it makes it sound simple.

We're not complaining on structuring it.

It's just the use of it. Is anyone going to use it? Or are we just going to waste our times.

procedure Next;
begin
UpTo:= UpTo + 1;
if UpTo > Max then
UpTo:= 1;
MapWalkTo(UpTo);
case UpTo of
1: EssMine;
2: WoodCut;
3: Fish;
Etc..
end;
SetTimeOut(40 + random(35), 'Next');
end;
Something like that would do it. Switching at a random of 40 - 75 minutes to the next.

ya :p well i would use it im sure everyone else would use it cause then your focusing on most skills… which looks like a less chance of getting your guy banned.

True. If you could set a certain time to be doing each skill then you could make it focus longer on the skill you'd normally do but then move to another skill for a short amount of time for anti ban. :rolleyes:

You could do the mapwalking fine with a modified client for perfect north/east/south or west then your more likely to get banned for being on a modified client.

Dark_Sniper

2006-04-04 06:45:10

… lets try useing the regular client and our heads on the map walking… wont be impossible…

if you guys are that scared of it… ill make all the map walking procedures,
but i would be nice to have some help :).
this should be easy if we get 5-6 good scripters into it.

Heres another problem guys: Accurate color-finding procedures… or are you guys using tol's? Because it would be pointless without auto color finding, im sure things like map-walking would need it. Just saying

WTF!
you make all these insults about SCAR and you say "or are you guys using tols". :mad:
Even if you use autocolor finders you still use tols. learn to script before you say "SCAR is obsolete".

mr. pali

2006-04-06 01:49:55

Well wah wah wah! I'm asking if you'd leave high tol's or use color finding procedures + tols? Jesus… and SCAR at this point is obsolete. MMk?

Krazy_Meerkat

2006-04-06 01:55:47

Lawl and it still ownzors aryan.
Scar is far from obsolete you traitor. Tolerances easily combat the colour change, and it still outranks any other current cheating program in terms of scripters.
P.S. Tolerances not used in colour-finding? It's been a long time since you scripted with scar pali, YOU are obsolete. MMk?

Here's my 2 cents worth:

To make this project have any longevity we would need to approach it from a moduar point of view. Instead of writing a long script that did everything, we would break it up into its seperate componants. This way if one script ie: the ess miner became outdated, you would only remove that one componant until it was updated… this would also lend itself to incorporating new scripts as they became available.

Steps I forsee need doing
1. Script writers need to write their scripts to comply with a basic standard.
1.a. Script needs to autocolor pick
1.b. Script needs to auto error correct - Doesn't give up easily but attempts to get back to starting location.
1.c. Script needs to listen for signal to stop working. When signal is heard, script will make its way back to the starting spot so walking won't mess up.
1.d. Each script needs to be kept uptodate by the author.
1.e. The script would need to use local variables only (or limited number of global variables) and any globals would need to be unique ie: globals in the ess miner would be like essRoadColor, essPortal: Integer.
1.f. Each script would be written as a procedure. Instead of a main program, it would be the main procedure. This will lend itself to easy incorporation into the script manager. Each script could be added as an include. ie: {.include Ess_Miner.scar}

2. Walking Scripts need writing.
2.a. Needs to autocolor pick (better if no color's needed using dtm's)
2.b. able to backtrack if it gets lost, or have error correcting logic built in (ie: if lost walk south till water, then follow water going west till bank symbol (or other known landmark) found…)

3. Controler. this would be the last thing to make that would tie the other componants together.

Now we have some organisation.
I agree that before logging a player out and changing in the array, the player MUST walk back to the starting position to ensure that when he is called next time, the script will have no problems running.

YoHoJo

2006-04-12 23:58:22

I bet that alost all scripters have had this idea but never wanted to post it.
Good jod dude.
I think is quite simple

Get like 5 scripts (one for each skill)
and just make the user type 1-5 for the script they want
Depending on the number they type a certain form will pop up containing all the needed information needed to run the specific script.

Highly possible

But the mapwalking would be a lil hard.
Im prety good with mapwalking
Tested a lot of stuff with it took forever.. lol
