Hey there,

does anyone know where I can get a hold of a free music production software? I have windows xp, so I cannot use Garageband.

I've been making trance music using Mixcraft 4.1, but it has a limited selection of SFX and beats to use… so I need a new program to make some songs with. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
-RC

EDIT: Maybe if someone helps me out I could start posting some of my songs on here :)

Have you tried FL Studio or Ableton?

I'm looking for something with a garageband interface, where you mix pre-made bits of music. is that what those are?

Sony Acid is 1337.

However, i don't think it's free. But i know how to get it for free ^_^
