This is my first starfield xD. I didn't add in the disturbance clouds because it didnt match my stars which were unrealistic. :/




I would love a tutorial on making the stars glow and more spaced out if possible. Thanks xD

I like it, but do you really think a star looks like that? It doesn't look like a lens flare :p

Now I really don't want to be offensive or anything but…

If you try something for the first time you are at the learning stage. Now by using filters such as lens flare and scatter brushes for the stars you are limiting yourself so much and you wont go very far. When I was first a noob at illustrator I was completely dependent on tutorials to get me better at the program. Learning the tools only took a few days but continuing to follow tutorials only showed my lack of creativity. You need to let your thoughts flow through…

Also just a suggestion on the stars… There are only two types of stars in your work! not anti-aliased, 1 px in diameter and two different colors… Every star is different in terms of color and size… I can only suggest doing every star individually…

Uhm, they dont vary that much, Freddy. The Photo/Image must be color-filtered or something :D.

Anyway, I like it. Personally, I phail it photoshop, so yeah, can't possibly think of a way to create images like that… oh well… :D
