Well I just wanted to know what the majority of eye colours would be, I can already assume it will be brown/black.

I'm just doing biology at school and learning about genetics so if you want post the eye colour of your parents too (or parent if you only have one). If you are adopted you can still vote on the poll but there isn't really much point in posting your parents eye colours.

Btw, my eyes are green and both my parents have blue eyes (I'm not adopted)

Brown, my dad's are brown, and mom's are hazel.

My eyes are brown / green. More on the green side. Some people may say thats hazel, some people may say hazel is a shade of brown =/
My mom's eyes are blue and my dads eyes are brown.
My grandpa on my dads side has green eyes…

And literally, everyone says i have beautiful blue eyes (they're really blue ("apparently"))..

My eyes are blue/green. And I don't know my parents eye colors. Why should I know that? :P

Interesting you must have the recessive gene (Very low chances of getting if both your parents have brown eyes)

Mine are hazel.

Mine are blue. My dad's eyes are blue and my mom's eyes are brown. Stepdad's eyes are blue as well :eek:

Same. The exact quote I get is "Wow, your eyes are so blue" and I just look at them and shake my head..

My eye color changes on my mood :rolleyes: dunno if it happens to anyone else…

angry = pitch black
normal = brown
really happy/high = light brown / shady brown

My eyes change color … two years ago they were blue.. now they are green… working on hazel…. (I have proof… my drivers license two years ago even says blue eyes… now it says hazel) … oh snap

Yakman, did you photoshop that picture? But that HAS happened to people where 1 eye is the dominant gene and the other is the recessive.

Green+yellow with a bit of brown in it. Mom: blue, Father: brown.

Btw no there is no such thing of Black eyes? it can be only Dark brown :P

The iris looks coloured because it refeclts light. Black is the colour, which absorbs all wavelengths, and cannot reflect any colour. Hence, it is impossible for anybody to have black irises. What laymen call black eyes are actually eyes with dark brown irises. Only the pupil is black.

Actually that is anything but boring.. Brown eyes are amazing … for a number of reasons..
