Following the earlier court defeat for Fredrik, Gottfrid and Peter and the pending civil action taken by several Hollywood studios, the Swedish authorities have now ordered The Pirate Bay to be disconnected from the Internet. The site’s bandwidth suppliers have been threatened with a large fine. The site is completely offline.

They did not relocate; they simply changed to a different ISP. The anti-piracy companies sued their ISP's ISP to take down the site. So, they did that. Bam, 3 hours of downtime, and they simply switched ISPs. Servers are still located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Black Internet, which yesterday closed the connection to The Pirate Bay, said he has been exposed to sabotage. "There are very serious damages," says CEO Victor Moller to Computer Sweden. You should be able to connect now, and you may get the screen that the site is still being worked on, but it should be back soon. "En olycka kommer sällan ensam."
Customers who get their Internet connection from Black Internet have no access today. According to a statement from Black Internet, this downtime is from a malicious act against the company's infrastructure.
A ruling in the Stockholm District Court on Friday ordered the operator to shut down the connection to The Pirate Bay. Black Internet received the news on Monday and immediately obeyed. Just hours later, the company was sabotaged, according to a notice on its website.
Victor Moller, CEO of Black Internet, confirmed that it is a deliberate sabotage.
"Our network is not working as it should. We cooperate with police and engineers to find out what happened."
He will not go into detail on what kind of sabotage is involved, or where the attack was from.
"I will not say, but it is someone who actively has destroyed us."
All the company's customers will be affected by the disturbance. Now parts of the network are back up and running, and more parts activated all the time. Many of Black Internet's customers sell affiliated connections, and therefore it is very difficult to estimate how many people are affected.
"It is a giant pyramid, and these are very serious damages, in very large amounts," says Victor Moller.
Per Wedin is CEO of One Call Support, one of the businesses affected. He has been informed of the sabotage when CS [Computer Sweden] reached him on Tuesday, but the connection is still not back. "If it does not resolve itself soon, we must look for a new supplier," he says.
"It's about millions of us [customers]," says Peter Wedin.
At the same time said Peter Sunde, one of Pirate Bay's protagonists who recently resigned from the role as spokesperson, the site connected to the network again during Monday night with the help of a new ISP: Immobilisation, after Black Internet was forced to disconnect them, therefore, only a couple of hours of downtime was experienced.
The reason why many users still can not reach The Pirate Bay is due, according to Peter Sunde, that their operators have not yet updated their DNS (Domain Name System) and router tables, simple terms highlighted on their systems to The Pirate Bay's new home on the web.

For those who can not read Swedish:

So yeah, the people responsible for shutting it down, also did illegal things to their network. Not good. Including the fact that the actual website is legal already (.torrent files are 100% legal; the people sharing the content that the .torrent describes is not).
So N1ke is correct, the government is turning into Nazis.

Also a funny article. Turns out someone was trying to earn money off TPB's owners, but they were tracking the wrong guy or something like that (my Dutch sucks, so I do not understand a lot of it). LOL.
