The script would report:
- bad language
- scammers
- jagex impersonators
- Autoers (ONLY lvl 3,4 and 5 "mules". Dontcha love the irony? A bot that reports bots…)

Give me feedback!!!

That's tpwn! If you could do that, that'd be awesome. I'd stick it in my Monk Fighter the second it came out! If you need any help with this, just add me to MSN.

I think it would be a good idea, but one question: doesn't jagex take a 60-sec snapshot of your account when you make a report?

That's what I thought too, but can't remember where I read it, do you?

Im fairly shure that they dont really look at the reporter for things such as autoing. They prob just check to make shure that the player didnt threaten to report the other if the other player didnt give him a item or to make shure that the foul language reprted wasnt provoked by the reporter. An think about how many reports they get a hour, nevermind in a day. I doubt they take a fine comb to the "60 second snapshot", especially if its for abusive language…they'll just give the reporter the benifit of the doubt and mute the other guy.

I started doing something of the sort.
It reported mainly lv 3 supposed autoers.
Got stuck on getting only their name when right clicking them though
good luck

heres a few functions which might be useful
function GetOption: string; gets the text on top-left corner,
function ChooseOptionGetMenuText(var RawMenuText: string; x,y:integer;txt:string):Boolean;
that chooses and option, but also gets the RawMenutext, its used in antirandoms (it gets the 'Talk-to Sandwich Lady')

maybe some of those will help

Wasn't there thread about this already?
And what does it have to do with SRL New functions…

If you wanted to make function for reporting users, try mine:
procedure ReportUser(uname : string; rule : integer);
var
x, y : integer;
begin
if not(getcolor(43,213)=16777215) then Mouse(459, 485,10,10,True);

SendKeysSilent(uname);

case rule of
1: Mouse(57, 216,30,5,True);
2: Mouse(57, 230,30,5,True);
3: Mouse(57, 244,30,5,True);
4: Mouse(57, 259,30,5,True);
5: Mouse(57, 273,30,5,True);
6: Mouse(57, 287,30,5,True);
7: Mouse(57, 302,30,5,True);
8: Mouse(283, 215,30,5,True);
9: Mouse(283, 230,30,5,True);
10: Mouse(283, 245,30,5,True);
11: Mouse(283, 260,30,5,True);
12: Mouse(283, 275,30,5,True);
13: Mouse(283, 290,30,5,True);
end;
end;
Credit if you use it…

This one works pretty nice, so basicly you could add something like this into your scripts:
If inchat('blocks your pass') or inchat('look ***') then reportUser(gettextat(..),2)

I think that it's a good idea to make an auto reporter but I wouldn't have it report level 3, 4, and 5 autoing mules because it says in the rules that if you report someone and it's false, action will be taken against you. If the bot makes a mistake they can easily check your account and since you've been autoing, I'm sure that would be a ban. But other than that, I would still do it :)

I don't like the idea, it's far to risky, you're getting way to much attention when reporting and if they get 60 secs of the reporter aswell, you're doomed!

Could Mopar or someone who might know something of this give us some insight to how the scunerape client works?

Ruroken

2007-01-13 10:29:25

Thats why im going to test it extensively on my army before releasing ;)

yes, i was thinking of what DaDaDer said and maybe i wouldt do the reporting of autoers but i still intend to make one for scammers and foul language users.

This is slightly off topic but the talk of level 3's got me thinking. I remember before I knew about cheating, reading a guide that was 'How to Make a Skiller', and it said to only work on non-combat skills and stay level 3, duh, but it also said to give your character the default bald yellow green, and set chats to off to concentrate on work. Looking back now, I realize it was autoers trying to reduce the amount of reports they get.
I think we should put a few guides on fansites, under different names, sort of like using propaganda to convince the general public that only the people that don't follow my sig are autoers, leading attention away from people that do follow it. One guide being, 'How to Report a Macroer', talking about level 3, default clothes, crap name, doing high level stuff like cutting yews, or mining gold while wielding a bronze pick (prolly rune in inv). Another guide being 'How to Make Money Through Skilling', or something, which will make people think that our players, are simply following this guide.

I don't think they check your account, they check the reported one.

I think they may check your account to see if you started the fight or goaded someone into swaering so you could report them. They also might check to see if you threatened to report someone if they didnt do something ect.

@Wizzy : Are you ever going to be on msn :p?

Alright:

1) Bad language - easy to do, just search for keywords that players use.
2) Scammers - this is going to be hard to do, how will you detect scammers?
3) jagex impersonators - this is going to be a little hard as well.
4) Autoers - how would you know if someone else is autoing?

Boreas

2- there are keywords for this too- free armor trimming etc
3- keywords, I'm a mod, without the crown
4-lvl 3 default clothes

Ok, that's cool and that'd be wicked antiban if we could add auto reporting. I think bad language is the easiest. Also, include it for simple words like "stupid"

Pyro

They check the last 60 seconds of chat and that is all i believe.

Ruroken

2007-01-14 10:11:36

Yeah, what pyro said makes the most sense.

I'm also going to include a timeout. Meaning the script wont report:

1) 10 mins after a foul language report
2) 15 mins after a scammer report
3) 30 mins after a autoer report (and checks to make shure it isnt reporting the same person)

dontpanic

Hmm… this would be AWSOME, maybe we could auto make some mods :D
