Revision Log
———————————————————————————————————————————————–

1.0.0b1 - Initial release.
1.0.1b1 - Added the option to use a set color for the ores. Works perfect now. There is no need to use the procedure FindOreColors anymore. FindOreColors sometimes did not work and therefore, you were screwed.

Please provide feedback, bugs, progress reports. It is important to the development of this script and the production of your autoing.

Have fun!

Well, with regards to that mining issue, would you mind explaining it in more detail to me if you can. I think it may be the OreColorFinding. I have since added a function that does not require you to use the function FindOreColors, but I still need to test, and see if it works. Its odd because I have done lots of testing and have never had that problem. Try it on a less crowded world. A highly consumed world can sometimes conflict with the OreColorFinding. Thanks for the quick response.

Yay, fav modz0r and scriptz0r and … modding and scripting again! Nice script, I would use it but my miner has been banned by fakawi's evil GM.

Thanks, I will be testing this!!

Dang, I wish I had my old computer back, all of my SRL usernames were stored on there..

Meh, I will still try, keep up the great work Kernel Klink!

Edit:The script worked good, however I had some problems, not sure if they are script, or SRL problems.
<============== -1.0.1b1- Progress Report ===============>
Worked for 1 Hours, 49 Minutes and 2 Seconds
Banked 8 loads[s].
Banked 223 Tin ores.
Gained 3902.5xp.
Random Event Report:
Fought 1 Time[s].
Logged in 1 Time[s].
<========================================================>
---------------------------------------------
Name : Player2
Number : 1
Mining Level : 16
Select Skill : Tin
Worked for : 0 minutes.
Banked : 5 times.
Active : True
Location : Varrock
---------------------------------------------
0 : Player1 = False. - Lvl : 44. - B :3 Times. - : 53 mins. - Loc: Mine
1 : Player2 = True. - Lvl : 16. - B :5 Times. - : 0 mins. - Loc: Varrock
2 : Player3 = True. - Lvl : 0. - B :0 Times. - : 0 mins. - Loc: Varrock
---------------------------------------------
Bugs(Some of them are SRL I think):
  • In Progress report, it counts up all ores mined, and calls them all the same ore…. Ex)233 Copper ores mined. (About half of those were coal from my first account.)
  • While banking, when it clicks on the MiniMap Bankers, sometimes it goes outside the bank, and it is obvious because the script doesn't correct the mistake, it wait's until the flag dissapears, then looks for the Slots in random places.
  • When the script attempts to login any player, the Runescape screen is Not activated, even after the script clicks username, therefore (sp?) it does not imput the Username, or Password, until you manually click the screen right before it enters the Username.

Overall, great job Kernel!

Thank you for the awesome feedback! It is very much appreciated <3. I was aware of the first two problems. I will fix the progress report ASAP.

When it clicks the Minimap Bankers, depending on where the Bank Symbol was on the Minimap, it did, as you said, click outside the bank. However, it still managed to find the bankbooth and click it. Did it not for you? Anyways, I plan to fix this too.

As for the third problem, is this at the beginning of the script, or whilst it is running?

Thanks once again for the most decent, properly-spelled feedback I have ever recieved in the history of my scripting career. By the way, did you stop the script manually, or did it run into problems and stop on its own?

No problem.

Yes, it still managed to find the bankbooth, and click it. Don't worry about fixing it right away, it is just a small bug, the script is nearly flawless!

I stopped the script on my own, and the GambleNewBox; failed on my first account, while my other two accounts (one of them wasn't used yet) were fine!!

Also, by using the downloaded ScuneRape Client, my third problem was fixed!:)

Do you have a reccomened mining level for the miners? Also a reccomended pic type for that level? I'm demanding.. -.- Once again, !!!GJ!!! ;)

Kernel Klink

2006-04-04 18:49:48

You can start off with a low-level miner with bronze pickaxe and raise him up by mining tin/copper, and then upgrade what he mines and his pick. You must have your pick equipped.

Neonknight77

2006-04-04 19:11:05

Hey, that gave me an idea.
Does this after like every 15 banking times
If(GetSkillLevel('mining')=21))Then
Begin
MoveMouseSmooth(BankSlot1);
If(IsUpText('Withdraw 1 Mithril'))Then
Withdraw(1,1,1);
End;

Haha, always thinking NeonKnight. I'll use this and have it accomodate the needs of my script.
Thanks!

Well, I do believe the pickaxe finding will not work if it isn't equipped, but if you still do not want it equipped (make sure every character doesn't have it equipped) set the variable EquipPick to false in the procedure SetupScript.

Wow quite informative, with posts like these i'm impressed srl has come as far as it has honestly, Please post the exact error you get when running these scripts in the BUG Reports forum so it can be addressed, We need information such as what kind of error Runtime Error? Line of script? Line of include, Is BenMouse set to True or False? Did you setup the Player Array as Needed? 99% of the Random Errors are because the user didn't set the Player Array and you get a Out of Range error.

Is this script still being updated?
I get errors. I know it's easy to fix, just wondering.

Dankness

2006-05-23 20:17:22

ATM It won't work even if you fix the errors because of the Dynamic RoadColor changes until we fix them your S.O.L. on Any Scar script that uses RoadColor for walking. The RoadColor is also apparently ServerSide changes so even with a new Client it will not be fixable. You can Try adding tolerance to the walking procedures but from my experiences lately It doesnt seem to work as Gajex has figured out ways around it by making other colors to close in Tolerance as the RoadColor seems they just added that fix to our tolerance fixs on the May 16th update also.

Works perfect, but wait until the next version of SRL is released.

Find all the places that say 'LinearWalk', and change it to 'LinearRoadWalk'. That should fix it.

Well it works for me. I made it mine copper though. The only problem I had with it is that it didn't go back to the bank. It went all the way to the Statue of Saradomin! So that means it didn't turn west at the intersection. Could you make it mine two ores? Here is a report.

I recommend using it with Iron, with other ores, it does not find thr MM rock color very well, and messes up during the walking.

There is one bug when mining iron, when yor mining, sometimes the Uptext is interfered with, I could fix this, but am to lazy, and do not need it right now.

Try to figure out how to fix it yourself.
