ive had a thought… what if a script replied to someone that said your players name name, but you reply in a different language ?

would the minimise the chance of getting spotted by a mod or being reported ?

That is very possible to do, for some languages anyways, but would seem a little wierd because don't they have different languages to load RS in? If you load an english world, and speak english for the most part, then say your name in a diff language randomly, I would find that a bit bannable maybe?

I'm pretty sure there is, but if you loaded in a English server and spoke in a different language, I don't think it would be that weird, would it even be detectable?

just checked…theres french, portugese and german

But no Hungarian!! I find it funny though that lots of word in Hungarian is censored. Words like cat. So nothing offensive. It's hard to speak Hungarian in runescape.:S
By the way I like the idea.

But what if the person knows the language your speaking? My character name is Spanish and I usually have someone saying hola towards me.

Edit: Not to mention a lot of languages require accents or completely different fonts (Chinese, Japanese etc)

make it detect common greetings in several languages and have it reply with the opposite language.

If it detects spanish, don't reply with english cuz those go hand in hand, maybe french or dutch.

and if someone is dutch, reply with spanish.
Since dutch people know english.

See where I'm going?

i think this could make scripts almost unreportable…wel unless there running exactly the same loop every time or clicking the same points every time lol

What (Hva), where(hvor), come(kom) and good(bra) are some words that are censored when speaking Norwegian. :/

This antiban is commonly used by the way, so it's nothing new

The reply doesn't have to be 100% correct.
Pick a language that nobody speaks, like swahili or something, and use some translator to check a few sentences

Then how the hell did you navigate your way around the site if you cannot speak english, so you must not be able to read, or what you just replied in english so you can speak english.

Make it speak lojban :p

This would work pretty well if you made some word banks and could have two or more bots talk to eachother in a different language to make it look more realistic since no one would talk to themselves in a foreign language

u dont have to bea able to read the text to play a game… u can put the first page into a translator tbh

I got friends who learned german and can hardly speak english and they can still play mmos well. You just have to know some very basic word but you still can't speak english.

So I think we someone should do something with this idea.

Actually if you are communicating in completely different language than if the opponent cant get that than that conversation is of no use.

Not sure about other browsers, but Google Chrome offers to translate a page for you if it's in foreign.

EDIT: My bad. Didn't look at dates :s

There are some stupid 12 year old kids who will report you because they are xenophobic (or whatever its called when you fear/dislike people outside your norm). This could help reduce your reportability, but due to extreme racism/stereotypical nature among most (if not all) people playing runescape… it may even increase chances.
