It returns this error:
"Error in DebugATPABounds"

It doesn't do it every time it is called. I'd say about a 50/50 chance. It seems to happen more often when I use "TPAToATPAEx" when compared to "SplitTPAEx". Zeph tried to fix it, and I told him it worked, but it only changed the odds to be about 60/40 of success.

Check if the TPA is =< 0

It's not. It fails debug but still finds the object.

Isn't this the one that takes a TCanvas as parameter?

That has to be some delphi issue, with refreshing the TCanvas, I guess.
