I would say most useful poster out of all SRL members who don't have the cup. Just look at his posts. From what I saw the other day searching through them, every single one was on topic with villavu and SRL/SCAR in general.

I think that he is on his way to becoming one of the next SSRL members if he keeps up with the scripting/activity/useful posting.

He deserves this cup more than the aristocrat IMO… (although he deserves both) These polls were pretty much at the same time though because I had mentioned to Rasta how Marpis deserved a useful poster on msn, and Rasta made a poll for him for aristocrat.

Coh3n got 2 cups at a time and then a hammer a week later or so.

My point was rather that we're handing out cups like free candy nowadays and I miss the old times when a cup actually was something not everyone had.

I agree, but the longer forums are around the more cups get handed out. You can't just stop giving out cups but yes maybe the standards need to be more longevity on certain types of things. Like a useful poster, instead of a week of posts or a good post, make it be that we need to see it constantly for a month, etc…more than 1-2 great script for a scripters cup.

EDIT: Most of marpis's posts that are helpful have been either in his own threads or in members applications (got the hammer). I think he would have been better off with the useful poster cup rather than the aristocrat hat. He only produced the one function lately CountOptions, which is nice but 1 functions shouldn't get you that cup.

So, overall I would say no.

Maybe you are right…

But it used to be mainly admins just giving out the cups and we went along not noticing that other people got them. Some of the admins are less active now, so most of the cups are coming from this section of the forum, which is why it seems like there are so many more going out now.

Useful posters is a cup that too many people deserve, because a large percentage of users of this forum do post on topic most of the time.

I really do think that he deserves this one more than aristocrat though…

If somebody else wants to renominate him for this then go ahead. He just got a fourth cup so I don't think that he needs another one for a little while.
