ok today i went on a trip and took my laptop with and i have a verizon wireless internet card so you can have internet any where. i was curious to see how fast it is here is my results. http://www.speedtest.net/result/538575441.png do can any one beat that? or with normal internet i wanna see the fastest =)

How the heck do you have an upload speed higher than your download speed? Usually upload is only a small fraction of what your download speed is.

Not from my ISP, the only option is for 15mb/s DL for an extra $8 a month.

That's great for a wireless card. Although where abouts are you in the country? I mean you are probably just in a hot spot.

my isp at home sucks it has 800k 1600k and 3000k sucks and upload is a different story

That's about the same as the OP is getting. 1 Megabit/s = 128 kb/s.

Speed test sucks.

I got 37mbs the otherday.
then I tried again and got 22
then I tried again and got 15
then I tried again and got 5

Then i was like wtf.

hahah, honestly, no clue why my upload speeds higher, I don't know much bout that side of computers. So I don't know, but it's kinda obvious I don't since I asked for a avg. to good speed :p

im not sure how this card gets it so fast

Fiber Optics wins. Though I'm on my laptop with a 2/5 signal strength right now. Haven't tried the test at the desktop host. Now that would be interesting :p
