Swine flu: a conspiracy?

Me and nielsie had a chat today and we deduced that the government did it (spread swine flu) intentionally, it was probably released in Mexico to start it. Why? Well:

1) The governments know that there is a large population, they want to kill the old and sick, and keep the best of the population.

2) Isn't it funny how the governments are ready to combat the disease? This was done to enhance their propaganda.

3) The medical companies, see how they're prepared, for instance gsk, one of the leading firms in pharmaceuticals suddenly have enough anti-viral (tamiflu) to accommodate 1/3 people in the UK. That's a big profit for them, moreover they also got a lot of orders for vaccines.

4) The media. They need something to go on about, enough said.

5) Terrorist groups, such as Al Qaeda despise 'the west' and want them to suffer. Easy enough to get into mexico, isn't it. Furthermore, all Muslim's believe pigs are 'haram' and 'na-pak' , so it would make sense that they would want to emphasize the un-cleanliness (to say the least) of pigs.

6) All the grave crimes against humanity were done by governments, lets face it. They have the power to do this.

Be afraid..very afraid. I couldn't find anything else to add, if you can find something feel free to add it. You think i've got it wrong? Prove me wrong.

I was thinking the same thing tbh..
It was quite odd how the big medical providers could suddenly "produce" such large quantities, so quickly [of the antiviral].

I was laughing at how many of the newstations in my area were saying this might be the next pnemonic plague.

What country's government are we talking about? Who cares if Mexico has a large population? The government that may have done this always runs the risk of having it spread to their country. I don't know much about the topic but how are these vaccines made? It could be easy to produce that is why they got a large quantity of them fast. Like I said I don't know much about this topic, but just a few questions I could come up with.

It's not really a conspiracy, Swine Flu is just a flu from pigs. It's no more dangerous that the normal flu.

The media is overstressing it though (probably for lack of better story), but there is the possibility for propaganda.

I will actually disagree with that… According to [*my numerous sources*] I will use this example…

If the regular flu was to kill 1/100,000 people the swine flu would be killing 1/10,000 people… both flu strains are transferable.

The swine flu has been around since the early 1900's .. I think the 1920's… however there has not been a sure way to detect it… until recently… that is what the panic was all about.. as I sourced before.. nothing to really worry about though.. more deaths have been recorded from the regular flu in one year than the swine flu ever.

not really… I did FAIL though.. I thought other people would understand… guess not…

If anybody was to read my sources.. or take any sort of highschool level health/anatomy/physiology class… they would know that recognizing a strain when the subject is alive can sometimes be harder…
you see… the swine flu was not able to be detected .. meaning doctors knew when someone died from it… just not what it looked like, or what to test if they had it..

It was legit… just a little harder to understand.

What makes the swine flu less dangerous is that it kills less people a year than the normal flu. /endofstory

1st point. I agree, however the governments will lose money as they need to spend money on vaccinations 'and shit', but due to their *early* efforts in combating it, it could be a very big boost for their respective parties.

The hype has not stopped, the vaccines are due to be launched in September here in the UK, quarter of the people in my village - Chesham - either have swine flu, have had swine flu. There are a lot more cases to come. Look in the US; Baxter healthcare, nearly becoming bankrupt, suddenly have a boost of sales: For example:

http://seekingalpha.com/article/133167-three-companies-that-could-benefit-from-swine-flu

http://www.helium.com/items/1436552-companies-benefit-swine-flu-outbreak

Look at this:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2009/jul/22/glaxosmithkline-swine-flu-vaccine

GlaxoSmithKline PLC, are doing bad due to the recession, *bam* soon as swine flu arrives they're about to seal the deal on 3billion! And remember, if one firm gains revenue then one place must lose money, people losing money = government on the other hand they gain votes. People gaining money = Pharmaceuticals.

However, as stated in your post it is a media 'shit-frenzy'. Now that MJ has died. They have to report something, they get money from it. It was said that schools had to be closed, now 10 people in my school (of 1350) have already had swine flu and more are expected. But, still my headmaster insists that the school is not going to be closed. No schools in my county are going to be closed either. People have yet to get it.

I may have created swine flu, but there is no benefit for me. Its a big thing, gotta be more than 1 player. Its a conspiracy, the media feed everyone lies you know they are bias. They shun the fact that it is a conspiracy, but go ape-shite. The government controls them.

EDIT:
Nationwide, there are 2984 confirmed cases of swine flu

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/2741590/Canterbury-closes-swine-flu-unit

It is predicted that 10,000 a day could be getting swine flu by the end of August, it is yet to begin.

EDIT2: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/18/20090804/thl-treatment-resistant-swine-flu-detect-5effa79.html
see?

Anyone care to comment on the points 5 and 1?

Well, the medical companies always keep a record of old failed drugs to see if they work.

For example, thalidomide used as a pill to cure morning sickness for pregnant women was actually found to cause defects in babies. Babies were being born with no limbs e.t.c. However, fast forward a few years; new research suggests that it's good at combating leprosy, it was banned previously, now it's used commonly.

Another example, take zyvox also known as linezolid, was found rubbish in combating certain diseases and was discontinued as it had severe side-effects. But now its found affective in ADHD.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linezolid

What I'm trying to get across is that the Government has the power and the resources to speed up testing, if it is needed vital then they may.

The cases of "swine flu" are mostly just people with normal flu who assume because they have signs of flu, that they are swine.

Swine flu is existing, but it is no where near as deadly, nor as widespread, as the government and media wants you to think.

Yes. The [American] government is planning to use the vaccinations- which have only been tested a week- on an insane amount of children in their public school system. (Me being one of them T^T)

Whether parental consent forms will be distributed or not has not yet been confirmed. However, I can assure you that I'll be 'sick' on the day that the shots are administered.

((Side note: My friend (doctor for 20 years) has researched the vaccine. You need to use a certain medicine if you're constantly around someone who receives the vaccine in order to not get sick.

My thoughts:
Assuming this is true, this will get masses of Americans sick (most have a kid or two). The insurance rates will skyrocket because so many people will need to see a doctor. This may be when the public healthcare is forced. ;) ))
