Hi, I am using http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46951 (Lacerawks aka lance's: Yak Pwner Script) and I was wondering if it was a good idea to leave it on for a while. I mean it's been going for 6 Hours 11 Minutes already but it is 11:18 PM and I usually wake up at 3:00 PM Yeah I no I must stay up late. I do so, Is it a good idea to leave it running for about….. 17 more hours? Which will bring a estimate of 23 hours total running… I am very protective over my account. This is my main account that I worked very hard on and I just wanted to no if it is a good Idea to leave it on. The script works great and takes breaks like every 1-2 hours… I really do not wish to get my account banned :P

EDIT: I just bought a abysall wip and I need 70 attack to use it. So I am training on yaks. How long would it take to get to 70? I am at 65 right now.

It's never a GOOD idea to auto on your main.

If you're willing to take the risk to auto on it, then you might as well do it responsibly. 23 straight hours, even with breaks, doesn't seem very responsible to me.

That just scares me. Is it okay to auto for 9 - 10 hours right? I heard that was the minimum to do.

I like to keep it under 8 hours a day on my main.

There are people that have autoed their mains up to 99 Str using the fight cave runner. So obviously they autoed a whole lot without being banned.

There's really not a right or wrong answer on this. Jagex can ban you for any amount of autoing, which is why many don't auto on their mains. You can't appeal a ban by saying you ONLY autoed 8 hours per day, or even 1 hour per day. It's irrelevant, because it's whatever they decide.

I have an army, and I don't want them banned. If I was being careful, I would only auto my army for 16 hours per day, to make sure they all have 8 hours of inactivity (like sleeping people). Of course, that's an army, where they all rotate through, and aren't active all the time, and hop between worlds.

If I was autoing one character with breaks, maybe 8 hours at a time would be my upper limit. It's really just your own personal preference.

Okay I havent botted a whole day! It it a good idea to auto again? I want someone's opinion other than my own. I say yes. But it's hard to beleave that jagex bans randomly…. Ive seen people auto 9 hours a day for months and never been banned. I have been very smart with my autoing.
