Random ID...

I've heard of these kinds of things before, mostly on RSBot. There was a random Object ID where there was no object in the Mining Guild. It's the same ID as a coal rock someplace else (not sure where), and could possibly have been put there to catch autoers.

Discuss?

Could be true..

My suggestion, dont auto in places with random rock id.

OR get all the rock id's that rock can be, and just search for them all?

I will bet that it was an accident.

Save the coords of all the existing rocks, and just use these. Fixed.

-.- Why do people always think I'm asking for ideas on how to script past this kind of stuff :p? Like with the exhausted rock thread, I'm merely pointing out that maybe Jagex has this kind of stuff all throughout, and watch out for it. Of course, it could be, as mormonman said, a mistake on Jagex' part.

Nope. Thats an object on the surface. Try to go up the stairs and do a findobject and walk to it. Bet it would find it.

No items with that ID found. And there's nothing but trees around that area which I think would be right above that spot.

Anyway, how exactly do dungeons work on RS? The drastic difference in the Y coordinate when you go up and down made me think that everything is actually just on one layer, but spread out (so when you interact with a ladder, it basically teleports you to a completely different area on that layer). Is that wrong?

Dungeons are their own thing. Its different floors of buildings that share the same tiles.

Ah, thanks mormonman.

Another thing I noticed. 1 coal rock and 1 gold rock in the dwarfen mines have the ID 30933. Also a bunch of non clickable scenery rocks hold that ID. Another mistake, or an anti-bot placement?

EDIT: 30933 is completely different from the other gold/coal rocks in the area.
