[22:57] <FrancisHelie> anyone can help me ?
[22:57] <mixster> Sorry, busy
[22:57] <R0b0t1> No
[22:57] <Rubix> no
[22:57] <R0b0t1> This is a self-help forum.
I find this attitude somewhat degrading, and it didn't use to be so… And it isn't so on the forums either…

They just think they're being funny/witty/cool/other desirable "tough guy" trait, like usual. I'd like to see it change also.

I don't see why I'm included - I see nothing wrong with what I said.

Its more what R0b0t and Rubix said, especially the last line.

How is that degrading? Besides, they're asking to ask, they deserve a sarcastic reply.

What I find degrading is The Claw's constant trolling.

I think a lot of attitudes need to change and we need to start acting like a team again, and the upper members should not need to hear this from us time and time again. Let alone they shouldn't even need to be hearing it at all, but thats a different can of worms.

Well, I didn't sign up to help people. I don't know where you're getting the idea that I did. Most people are continuously assholes, and the rest are only part-time.
You've still not described how it is degrading.

Hmm, I help out when I can, but I am finding more and more people asking me to just do things for them..

I notice this too the little I drop into IRC now days. Every time I go there it seems like someone says 'Can someone take a look at why this is not working correctly…' and then gives a pastebin/rafb link. And no one ends up looking at it for him, so then I will take a look, but if I were not there he probably wouldn't have gotten the help…

Most of the time there is someone who helps, seems the most frequent helpers are Tootoot222 and mixster. And often there are others who help. As long as there is one person to help, its fine. But the sarcastic responses are quite unnecessary.
