Hey I have got smart running and everything but its really slow, by that I mean it will lag and freeze up for seconds at a time. Really often as well, I am pretty sure it isnt my laptop with the problem. I've tried giving java more memory too but it is still doing it.

Anyone help?

in the smart window, see the scroll on the right? try moving that to the top

Also it might depend on what script your using, although try playing with the scroll on the right, I might be wrong about the first part.

Still rather slow though, it goes really smooth for a while at any fps (sept low obv) but just freezes and jumps all the time, so annoying.

And Im sure my laptop THAT overloaded/slow.
I do clean it out quiet often with ccleaner and other things.

But after trying a few scripts, it seems it might be the scripts. Because its only like that when it is running, if i Pause the script then its alot better.
I guess it might be down to the script, I'll just have to wait for Junior.

There is usually an option in the const to auto with a signed client or unsigned. Signed will make it load faster.

to the person having the problem:

do this to your script

near the top with the rest of the green text

{.include srl/srl/misc/smart.scar}

merge with the const column near the top

UseWorld = 53;
MembersWorld = False;
WantSigned = True;
Detailed = False;

add this above setupsrl; , find it with ctrl+f

UseWorld := Server;
MembersWorld := Members;
WantSigned := Signed
Detailed := SuperDetailed

hit ctrl + f look for setupsrl; and add this underneath:

SmartSetupEx(UseWorld, MembersWorld, WantSigned, Detailed);

You're supposed to take out SmartSetupEx, I'm pretty sure.

Not allways the anwser…

When I was using a GE firemaker from the cnr sport it was lagging a bit (the fps thing didn't do anything) and his fisher same (don't get me wrong, both great scripts but the SMART just didn't seem to work properlly).

When i used other scripts (reflection to) like runescapian's fletcher, power miner… it works fine.

I'm pretty sure that's the problem, no solution tho :p

Have you tried restarting SCAR, and making sure there are no extra scar.exe files running in the back ground? That's often fixed the problem for me. Or maybe you just have too many applications running.

But if you say it only lags when the script is running, that is probably the script. I've had that same problem. Usually when I just restart SCAR it solves it.
