ClickNpcChatText messing up.

Having a problem with ClickNpcChatText,

It sees my text perfectly, and navigates to it, however it seems to keep on clicking a tab bit early, and I have no idea how to stop it from doing so, as in it will move the mouse to click here to continue, but it will click two quickly and misfire a few times. Anyway I can fix this?

there is already a function for pressing 'Click Here To Continue'

its called function ClickHereToContinue:boolean;

It's not just click here to continue that I have to click, but I will try that function for the click here to continue, and then see how it's made and see if i can't do one for click yes. That's the bigger problem, is having it click on text other than click here to continiue =/

EDIT- also when i tried to use your function ClickToContinue, it gives me an unknown identifier =/

Of course cheeze, setupsrl is in main loop, and it does go to the click here to continue thing, moves the mouse perfectly, just seems to glitch and mis click 7/10 times

well, the last SRL has a mouse that center based, the previous was corner based,
this could be the reason for the misclicks, in fact it probably is, when the person added it, some people mentioned quite a few misclicks in SRL

What do you mean by center and corner based?

i think it means that all the clicks on the older srl versions would click towards the corner of different things like words, objects etc, and this time it should click more towards the center of the word or object or anything else similar to what a human would do.

if that is the case then when I updated it to 3.6 it should have been fixed no? I have 3.6 and I'm still encountering the problem, how do I fix it?

Corner Mouse

procedure MMouse(dx,dy,randx,randy:integer);
begin
dx := dx + random(randx);
dy := dy + random(randy);

Center Mouse

procedure MMouse(dx,dy,randx,randy:integer);
begin
dx := dx + random(randx/2) - random(randx/2);
dy := dy + random(randy/2) - random(randy/2);

Corner Mouse

dx,dy ----------------
| |
| |
|-----------randx,randy
Center Mouse

randx,randy-----------------------------
| |
| dx,dy |
| |
|--------------------------randx,randy

the problem was created in SRL 3.6, its mouse is center mouse, but SRL 3.5 is corner mouse

But isn't corner mouse what's causing the problem, as in shouldnt upgrading to 3.6 have caused me to click the middle of 'Click here to continue' text instead of the corner which it seems to be doing causing it to mess up? I think you've manage to confuse me Yakman, either way, how would I go about repairing this problem?

no, ClickHereToContinue was written with the scripter assuming CornerMouse, now that the Mouse has been changed to CenterMouse, some other things are experiancing misclicks.

to change, go to MouseFlag.scar

scroll down to MMouse
change

dx := dx + MidRX + NormDist(MidRX);
dy := dy + MidRY + NormDist(MidRY);
into this

dx := dx + Random(RandX);
dy := dy + Random(RandY);

thats how it was before, it should hopefully fix some of the misclicks
dont ask me why this happened, i was against it from the start

Uh, the above would be what my srl already says :S, maybe my update didnt work when i tried to overwrite the files, now I am even more confused.

EDIT

Ok huge problem, I found out my issue, I was running the older srl version before I attempted to update it to 3.6 when it came out, but aparantly messed up, so it is the old srl version I am having misclicks with. Now for some reason I sucessfully updated to 3.6 today, but it wont let me use findobjspiral, I don't know why it's being faggish about it as i verified and it is still in Xobjects both in the manual and in the actual include folder, yakman would it be possible for me to add you and speak with you via msn, I'm sure I'm just being noobish about this, but this is getting utterly retarded.

EDIT2- YAKMAN= THE MAN! fixed me up good, thanks a ton mate.

Don't you guys love how i never double post :P 2 edits ftw :D
