Hey, about 8 months ago i decided to buy an easter egg for around 4mill. I quit since then and got on yestarday. I am really surprised, as they skyrocketed in price. when should i sell, anyone here a ge master? :P

yeah, i would actually wait like 4-5 days after it drops, cause sometimes, items dip, then keep rising.

yeah i was just looking at santas and they dropped a couple mills then went back up.

I don't know about you, but I probably wouldn't wait for it to drop. It might rise more but you are looking at selling it for roughly three times what you bought it for. That much profit on one item is enough for me.

Yeah but it would be nice if it rose to around 15m and then got a santa hat for it, which would rise even more.

Haha i suppose that makes the wait worth it. A nice bonus is that at least you won't be losing money, unless something drastic happens, like you eat the egg.

Thats what im thinking, but im trying to wait to it goes from 12m which it is now, to 15m, then i could buy a santa hat and merchant that.

That's the thing. There really isn't any reason it should be rising that fast. It's price has almost doubled in the last month alone, and I wasn't aware that it was a popular item to have.

If the price doesn't crash soon, I'll be surprised. Of course, I'm not very good at merchanting, so I might be mistaken.

Interesting question here but why is the egg rising so fast? Has someone eaten a bunch of eggs or what? I never thought of the egg as anything more than a rare to buy just because it was a rare. It doesn't have a use, you can't show it off easily except constantly trading. What would cause its price to double?

I was wondering that too. I bought it because easter was coming up, and expected the prices to rise, but I quit and came back recently. The only reason i can thing of is what your thinking, someone got hungry.:norris:

it could rise high around 15m but will most likely be dumped and who's to say yours is going to sell at that time.

wait for it to reach 12m and sell imo.

Even if someone got hungry, how would the market know that someone, hopefully only one someone, ate their egg, and even then are eggs so few that it's going to triple in price? That's ridiculous. I also agree with Kave to sell before it starts to drop since it will most likely drop hard and fast, since it has risen so much.

Sell it asap.

Its going to drop… and everyone will be selling it then, and no one will be buying because they see it is falling lol. Get rid of it now and enjoy the profits of your investment :)

badbadbad idea,
You should always look around RS (real) forums, to check the street price of an item.
You sold it for a lot less than it's real value.
If it sells max, then it means that there's a lot of demand.
If you held onto it, you would have made a lot more money.
Look at the grand exchange price now :P, it'lllp robably be alot more.
