i have a pure and i was wondering where i should train strength/range? im not sure what to kill as it is f2p, any suggestions on what to kill, average xp/hour or even good places to make a little money while killing

also should i keep 1 def? train to 60 att any ideas on this account i would really appreciate

umm i love the stronghold of security for f2p. the goblins in the first llevel i find are realy good.. i know there low level and havve almost no HP but theres so many of them in each room you dont have to compeate much for monsters, so its just a continuous streem of fighting. and if they get to weak for you then go to minitaurs and wolves, or flesh crawlers, or what ever you find works well.

if you deside to go members then rock crabs are good, i think someone made a realy good reflection rock crab killer, though it might be broken by now.

i would stay a pure, get your atk and str up as high as posible, and keep them even thats probably the best. if you wanted to become a member and go Pking, you could go with dclaws or godsword (they are expencive though) =/ or maby a ranger, dbows are quite cheep compared to dclaws and god swords.

umm well iron armor and a rune scimitar? thats all you can do with those levels. get 60 attack so you can wield dragon haha, or if your rich i think a whip is good to train with

what about obby maul etc

I went from 58 -> 94 ranged on flesh crawlers, F2P. They're good for 1 def as well because they only hit a max of 1.

Flesh crawlers are even better in members because they actually drop enough to make you some decent cash.

crabs are good cause you can afk too :)

Crabs are ftw. I've gotten sooo much exp there. :) Soul Wars is good if you kinda just wanna sit and talk to people :p

Read this. :) It wouldn't be too hard to make a script for it. Or you could just AFK and attack every once in awhile. :)

I thought I'd do a little test as I was afk training range at Flesh Crawlers.

I was 91 ranged when I started. First I took a full load of food and 10,000 bronze arrows, wearing rune full helm, green d'hide body, legs, and vambs and tested how many arrows I would fire before needing to get more food. I didn't pick up any arrows, so I could get an accurate count.

I fired 6,528 arrows and received 118,484 range xp. That's *18.15* xp/arrow.

Then I banked and swapped the green d'hide body for a rune chain and repeated the same test. D'hide body gives +15 ranged attack bonus, while chain gives +~20 defense bonus.

This time I fired 10,143 arrows before needing to bank. So, the rune chain made a huge difference on the amount of damage I was taking while I was training. I was able to stay there with the same amount of food for 55% longer.

1,903 of those arrows were at lvl 91, and I got 34,440 xp for those, which is *18.10* xp/arrow. So, switching from d'hide body to rune chain didn't drop the xp per arrow much. I'm not sure that is even a significant difference. I assume that means I was still hitting just as often and doing the same amount of damage per hit.

After I leveled to 92 I fired the other 8340 arrows, and got 150,612 xp for them, which was *18.28* xp/arrow. So, although my max hit didn't go up at 92, my hit percent and/or average damage did go up slightly.

It could be that Flesh crawlers have such low range defense that losing 15 ranged bonus didn't matter. If I was fighting stronger monsters it might matter then.

Anyway, looks like I'll stick with the rune chain. Maybe I'll try rune legs, too. Maybe even rune pl8? :) I might do the same test with red spiders or ankous if I have time.

Dhide body
Rune legs/skirt (cheaper ^^)

I'd say train slayer at the same time if you wanna make a little bit of money, and go to the master in burthorpe and you'll get some easy tasks, so it shouldn't be to big of a deal with your defence.

thanks thats what im doing now, also what is the best weapon i can use to train strength with 40 att?
