I think we should move to another way of welcoming new SSRL.

I suggest cutting off your left earlobe. It would be a blood sacrifice to prove you're serious about SSRL. The earlobe doesnt do anything anyway, its excess skin. Nothing would mark out SSRL more then when it is marked in the flesh!
