What the hell is with all these SRL members changes their usernames to "*username* aka *name*?!" No one gives a rat's ass what you also go by.

It looks horrible, too.

they are in the middle of a name change, exp:

I want to change to "stupid"

so for a month I have to go by Brain AKA stupid



This way people start to associate me (Brain) with the new me (stupid)
note: I am not defending them, just explaining why it's like that.

haha i signed up as "lanceraws" and mods are makeing me "Lance"
they do this so that all of a sudden people arnt just becomeing something new, it would be quite confuseing to everyone else if i suddenly just changed my name without much notice, though i agree with you. it does look bad, it would be nice if we could have it as

its just really dumb. If the name change is too great then is should not be allowed to change.

Usually they're not a huge change, it's just so people know who they are, otherwise people would get confused. I don't see why people so upset over this. :confused:

EDIT: Also, to people who say it looks ugly, it's not like it's your name, so what's the problem?

Meh well personally my reason for my name change is because I feel 'Runescapian' gives the wrong impression to new users of me, seeing as I don't even own a main on RS… Thus, I thought I really needed a name change :) I think it'll be worth it after a month.

They are going through a mid-life crisis. It will be over soon.

I don't like how I don't recognize people if I disappear for a month.

Who cares? If you do not recognize them, ask them who they are. Then they will tell you, and you will know who they are..

Its like if your friend who you've known for a year named Robert all a sudden wanted you to call them Bob. It just can't happen

Well, that example isn't as drastic as some of the name changes here.
