So anyways, I have been skating for about 3 years and not to long ago I went to the doctors and to sum it all up I have the knees of a 50 year old, and unless I don't stop skating for a while (Est time. 1 - 2 years) i wont be able to walk correctly by the time i'm 30 (Currently 16).

So I was pretty upset about it, i mean I've skated everyday of my life ever since I first started skating. My girlfriend decided she'd take me shopping, during that time she bought me some metro clothing and got me a haircut. Tbh i think it's really faggy.

My local council were holding this competition called "Most attractive" and for 2009 I won it… Well my girlfriend won it… Let me explain:

You see she came over one day… and got kinda upset that I hadn't wore my new clothes once, so i said i'd wear it for the whole day. Whilst I was waiting at the bus stop with her and she told me to put her scarf on… Like the whipped person I am I did and she told me to pose.. so I did.

This was the result:



The prize was a $500 shopping voucher to Myer, Jayjays, Mossimo and Cotton On (All Clothing Stores). So that was pretty sweet, but the other half of the prize is a photo shoot and a spot in the local newspaper.

So for those who tl;dr

Gf sent picture into a comp without my permission and i'm really nervous because thousands and thousands of people will see it and i don't really feel comfortable with thousands of people looking at my picture. What should I do? I really don't see how i'm attractive.

P.s.. The reason why i'm coming to SRL is because I need a honest opinion without the "Internet Faggotry"

When I signed the form for my $500 voucher I didn't realize at that point of time that I had to do a photo shoot. And because i thought it was just the voucher i signed the form and later i read through it some more, and it said said something along the lines of "All parts of the contract must be for filled or all winnings will be revoked" or something like that. I've used the voucher and i wore some of the clothes which means I can not take it back. I don't have $500 to waste… And neither do my parents

Lawl… I think thats true I'll give you 3 reasons

1. Girls can get close to them without the worry that they would get from a straight guy (i.e being used etc)

2. (Most) Girls usually want what they can't have

But as a word of warning, my sister once dated a farmboy. Literally raised on a farm out in the country. My sister was a performer and after they had been dating for a while she ended up getting a job dancing for a circus that was touring around Mexico. Somehow she talked this farmboy into coming to dance in the circus too, and he ended up doing dance routines in cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, and a speedo for a few months until he realized how truly strange it was, quit the circus, broke up with my sister, and flew home. I guess girls can talk you into some pretty strange stuff.

So, I'd suggest you just set a few personal boundaries, and then have fun.

And Bjrob, don't worry about reputation, just do your photoshoot, enjoy the once in a lifetime chance (not that I'd really be excited bout one either though :p) and if anyone has anything to say about it, just beat them with your board, I'm sure it can do some serious damage to a skull and probably few people will say anything bout your photoshoot.

But seriously, just do it, get it done and over with, one day you'll forget if you didn't like it, maybe. But eventually it won't be on people's minds and you'll go back to your skater image, I'm sure it'll be like it never happened after like 2-4 months.
