Well this is for SRL discussion, so I guess this might go here, if it doesn't then sorry, a mod can move it. But anyways, I'm pretty sure I live in the timezone -5 GMT, the east coast of America, and on the forums that's what I have it set to, but when it was 3:25, the forums said I posted at 11:25, I don't know why. So I changed it by 4 hours to -1 GTM, and now it has the right time, but wrong timezone, I don't care I have it set to the wrong timezone, because now the time is right, but how come the timezones are off with the actual time by like 4 hours (4 hours 4 minutes to be exact I think :rolleyes:)

This has been a problem for months and Wizzup has put off fixing it because he says he'll have to shut down the forums for multiple hours. I'd like to have my time back too.

The time is 8 hours in front, so just set your timezone to a timezone 8 hours behind your current timezone then all is fixed. :)

not for me, it's only four hours off, so I set my time four hours behind, well yesterday that's how it was and setting it four hours back fixed it.

EDIT: This post says 11:30 PM when it's AM, lol somehow now my time is off by 12 hours, but thanks for the info Method, so it probably won't be fixed for a while to avoid SRL forums going down?

I'm already at GMT -8, there are only four other choices to choose behind mine. I'd rather not be a day ahead, either.

No, it probably won't be fixed for a long time, even though Wizzup has said he would be working on it.

An offset of -8 works for me :p.
