Scripting competion rules

1. No reflection.
2. Must include srl.
3. In contrast to StarBlaster's Competition you must have a team, no flying solo.
2. Cheating, obviously, will not be tolerated, that means copying, espionage, spying, and bribery.
3. The Deadline is the Dead Line no scripts will be accepted afterwards.
4. your Team is allowed to submit only submit 1 version or your script.
5. Plugins are allowed 
6. All work must be from members of your team

Team rules

1. Teams should have between 2 - 4 Members.
2. All Teammates must be SRL Members or above.
3. All Teammates should have some form of communication other than PM'ing. If u dont youll be at a disadvantage
4. All Teams need a name.

ok so thats what i came up with on the the fly i looked onto the first on for sugestions and guidelines more can be added if desired

I think plugins should be allowed, because they offer so much more functionality and flexibility if people know how to properly use them. Isn't what this competition is about: to show how much knowledge and talent you have? Also if something is too complex for SCAR to run it at a reasonable speed, a plugin is needed. If plugins are not allowed, the writer of said complex code, he will not be able to show what he is capable of writing.
Though how much code is in the plugin would need to be limited. We can't have people porting half of their script into a plugin so they get more points for speed (if that is judged). Maybe a percent of total code (in lines) is allowed to be plugin code?

Also, I don't really like #3 on teams. It's the team members' faults if they can't communicate properly; that's part of the competition.

The rest looks great. Though I'm a bit sad that SRL will need to be fixed before this can start.. and we still have no judge(s).

I agree here, but we have to find judge sooner or later, else this competition will die.

Who is rating the Competition then? (I'm nearly done with rating the previous one… :p )

Well, atm we got noone who's capable of doing so.

It's not a good idea to start a competition while SRL isn't fully working.

I think Mixster said he'd do it if we couldn't find anyone at all. Not sure if he was serious or not, but if you quit, I'm teamless, and that's against #3 on the first set of rules, and #1 on the second :'<

I did indeed say that, but I'm ok if Markus really wants to do it. I'm not sure how well Jason2gs and R0b0t1 would do without me though since they were only on my team for moral support.

I want to see this go… I will judge if you need me too. I really want the cup too.

Also, I have an idea for prizes. But forsome it's nothing special. I have totalk to Markus though.
