They work for getting lines such as Chooseoption with GetTextAtEx, But rs_GetUpText don't work with them…?

Any ideas?..

I'd have thought rs_GetUpText would take care of that. After all, it currently works for all uptext colours.

rs_GetUpText uses it's own internal font (uses the shade etc) so that one won't be fixed by fixing the font afaik. And the UpText has been transparent for ages now :p

So it will be fixed by a new SCAR version…(3.20e)?

or just use reflection *cough* :D

I'll be releasing a new version of SCAR as soon as possible with everything fixed, just because of this update and stuff work is piling up really fast, dunno where to start

From looking at the volume of complaints on this forum regarding the new font, I hope that you will be pleased with what I am about to tell you!

Later on today (I don't have an ETA), we will be changing the font back to its former glory.

Reflection is efficiant and fast and powerful. Dont you find it stuipd to handycap yourself saying, yes lets do things the hard way and then never actualy acomplish anything? Sure theres some crazy good scripters here to who can make 1337 all color scripts but the point is to make good scripts, not to be showing off our skills. is it not?

The fonts have not been reverted yet.

And they were complaining because they didn't like the look of the new fonts.

You simple don't have an IQ above 80, reflection is much more accurate AND fast when compared to the old school color finding.

Records for my Chickenkiller are posted in the thread. 100% color, never any reflection.

I'm still waiting for someone to beat them, reflection or otherwise.

#1 - Worked for 342 Hours, 11 Minutes and 39 Seconds, Killed 183,765 chickens at a rate of 537 per hour

#2 - Worked for 269 Hours, 40 Minutes and 10 Seconds, Killed 120,328 chickens at a rate of 446 per hour

#3 - Killed 28,470 chickens at a rate of 756 per hour

#4 - Cooked and dropped 1,355 chickens.

#5 - Buried 13,972 bones

Exactly my thoughts Lance! It's about what the results of your scripting, not the method you used. Although a combination them both is my favorite ;)

We are here to learn, to gain knowledge and if you have read the homepage it says "We fulfill an intellectual challenge". They updated it though it was a little bit better, anyways we are here not to make 1 hour ref scripts(long ones are fine :)) and leech ehm.

Yeah I agree with that, I'm still learning so I would probably spend a day on a script that you would release in an hour.
Anyways, I don't think the scripting itself is the "intellectual challenge", it's more the logic behind it, which you still need for a one hour reflection script.

Not saying reflection is better, both have strong and weak points, at least for a nubcake like me :P.

Guys, stay on topic please. Reflection and colour are both good for different things.
