SRL Archive - News and General

NiCbAz (or w/ever the caps are), nose_smahser, ZaSz and m4r1us have been banned (as I can't demember/lock down accounts) for account hacking.
They all match an IP from the ISP inturbo.lt, which was clearly not their usual ISP (all were using other ISPs from like the other side of the world).

If anyone got some information on this please post. We want to resolve this ASAP.

I'm confused: They were banned for hacking accounts, or they were banned as a precaution because they were hacked?

EDIT: Guessing the latter, but "have been banned for account hacking" confused me :p

i will ask them if they are involved with rsbot community because their forums got hacked and the hacker sent out a password hacker.

I would heavily vouch for NiCbaZ though. I dont think for a second he would do this. I have known the guy since he came to SRL, I dont think this is him.

my solution would be to see who's ever ip is on these accounts that are "hacked"… if it is not a proxy, then just ip ban him from site, change all passwords on forum. and boom problem solved :/?

Because my cousin just downloaded/used autobot 2 days ago, and just yesterday he had so many trojans, and his desktop was all changed and everything deleted. :o

Some have come to the conclusion that this 'F4 hacker' was the guy who was sending PMs for help, then linked to a phising site that was identical to the SRL Login screen.

EDIT: I checked RSBot the day this was going on, but at a glance I didn't notice any sort of announcement of them being hacked. So it probably wasn't because of RSBot (unless they didn't know they were hacked, or something like that).

The SRL Members on that list should view my thread -_-. Besides, they should recognize that it's fake since it asks for you to login even though the cookie is still set.

i saw your thread, thats how i got the link…. but i didnt enter my user and pass, i entered a bunch of words but i cant see hot my pass was taken just by that?

Because he can't hack and you are using the word Hack wrong, especially for this F4 "Hacker" he just created some phising website.

How can someone steal cookies. From viewing a site, what browser were you's using at the time?

Like whats this F4 Hacker w/e he called even bothering to hack accounts its not even doing anything..

It was just stating it could be that way, since I was on the site and have not been "hacked" I don't think my statement is true at all.

Guys, stop giving him so much attention; that is what kids who do this stuff crave. Everyone who was "hacked" put their password onto a website that looked like Villavu. They did not even bother to check the URL….

The cookies could have been taking from just viewing a webpage, obviously depending on the browser you are using..

But if "random text" was entered in the fields.. There is absolutely no other explanation for the password steal other than a cookie hijack..
The cookie wouldn't have to be uploaded.
It could have read the cookie however..

It'd all be down to the security settings set up within your browser..
But whoever has done this..
Has done it for this response..
He hasn't taken any admins or even attempted..
He hasn't hacked..
He could be a she..
They are just wanting a reaction..
Nothing more.
