The only way to become an SRL Member is via an application. He applied, but his application got 8 no votes, and no yeses. This is his only application, and it was denied. I know that he helps out a lot, but this is going against the ethos of SRL Forums.

Akwardsaw has been an active member of this community. He posts helpful comments, is always trying to make SRL better and is generally just a good guy. I'm not familiar with his scripting ability however that application is now 3 months old. People learn a lot in 3 months.
SRL Members isn't 100% about scripting. Of course scripting is a major part but so is attitude, activeness and how the user goes about in the community. The SRL Staff took this into consideration when polling him for auto-members.
Sure, by far the most common way of getting SRL Membership is through submitting a membership application however in the few extraordinary cases the staff will decide and promote accordingly.
Akward and Baked0240 are as deserving of SRL Membership as any other SRL Member.
