SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

Im seeing alot of people getting banned lately on these fourms…and others too… so is autoing really coming to an end? jagex is really putting a hard hit on us alot or is there another way to make scar/srl so humanlike????? im worried i will never be able to auto again lol, i haven't autoed since that update came in. what do u all think?

I don`t think so, becouse scar is more than huma, it does much better than human, os i think tha SCAR is only one who lives…

I think that yagex is setting up war with normal players ust.. to be more human, that they are write now :P :D

look at rsbot there getting screwed not scar scar is a color finidng bot not a hacking bot were fine

Those people who got banned, 85% of them were abusing the bot. Autoing 10+ hours a day and such. (I do also, but if you have 2-4 accounts running the bot, its safe with breaks and such).

If you abuse a script, yes: you get banned (like I was on my 100% botted tank).
I wouldn't be scared about these bans, they were there waaay before. The only difference is that macroing gives perm ban now, instead on 10-day ban :\

Auto safely. Watch the bot when you auto. Autoing will never die for RuneScape, until RuneScape is no longer a game. I auto 18 hours a day almost every day and I don't get banned, and I use simple scripts that are only about 10 lines. If you use common sense, you're fine.

I don't think it is possible for Fagex to find out if we are botting because SCAR just imitates a real person. Jagex can't detect any hacking of the game client because there isn't. The only thing that gives you away would be bad scripting and being in a random for 10 hours:eek:

RSBOt is a different story though. They're really getting screwed right now.

I am pretty sure the driving reason behind developing SRL was to avoid situations like this. I mean when the original sleeping random came out, there was a program that you could do the captcha's for other people while they autoed (this predates SRL, but an example it still is)

Then there was the first series of randoms that were developed. We managed to adapt to these and we are still around, even with all the stuff they have added to the game in the past months/years.

I think it will just be another need to adapt, I mean we have adapted before and this is just another reason.

Most of the reasons everyone is posting that they got banned. Most of these people are usually newer to the autoing scene and think "Oh, I can do this all day, it's so cool. I won't ever get caught." The definition of abusing it like mad. I think if people just figure out the reason that SRL was made (Not to abuse, multiplayer, random solving, etc…) I think that we will be able to mostly avoid the bans. RSBot is a client editor, most likely making it much easier to detect. I think we will just have to ride the storm out and adapt to anything that comes out way. We have done it in the past and I am pretty sure that we will continue this same path.

Yeah i guess ur right, very true… and scar/srl really isnt user friendly that much so u gotta have some experience in programming and not leech, i really didnt notice that we are one of the best bots out there now..

Absolutly not.

I remeber The Fawk posting some where that SRL isn't for the Gold farming. It's to blend in, look, act, and sound like "just another runescape player".

I Think Jagex would even Ban you, when you Stay awake for 2 days and level just one certain Skill in that time, beeing muted, someone would probably report you for not replying o_o….

So, im with everyones opinion, i guess its not the (good) scripts that gets you banned, but the way you use them.

As many mentioned above, don't abuse the autoing and don't worry :) When they start to IP ban members for autoing, oh no! That's when you need to worry but I doubt they will ;)

Hmm, I see alot of word about autoing under 10 hours is considered the safe zone. Well I have been autoing on average, 14 hours a day, for almost a month now. At one point I left it running for 24 hours to see how far I could push it . I am going to ease back now on the time I leave it running, and just do 8 - 10 hours max to be safe. It is my main and I don't want to lose it.

As for RsBot, I see that as the "scene" versions of scar. It's like zi3m said "Scar/SRL isn't really user friendly" It requires a bit of experience to get it running and have it function properly. Rsbot is more of a click and go kind of thing, but as mentioned early, it hacks into Runescape, being more detectable. Unfortunately I have never tried RsBot ( And I don't think I will anytime soon) so I can't fully speak saying it's bad. But looking at other comments, Scar is the better select being that it mimics human activity. It has been said before, and I will continue to pass it on. Bot safely people.

It would be pretty useless though lol, its realy easy to change your IP address.

Anyways, NO! Autoing is NOT comming to an end and most likely never will. People that get caught is because they use dumb scripts that make it obvious to Jagex that they are autoing. We in Villavu, are making better and better scripts that look more like a real person. The more humanlike the script is, the less of a chance you get banned. Eversince they brought out that update claiming that they can detect all macros, I wanted to see so I started up myself, almost every day since I've been autoing and have not been caught yet.
Like I said, it depends on the script and how much you auto.

NO autoing is not coming to an end. if it did i would have no use for my old as$ hp 4530 (look it up)

2 years ago i used to bot with scar 24 hrs a day and never got banned. so jagex is really cracking down hard on auto-ers. Rumors are they have a detection system for every type of auto so a bot would have to be near human to cheat jagex.

JAGEX makes better systems and we make better macros to bypass them
